If you've abandoned the quest, you should be able to retrieve it using the same character from Werner on the Nessus Barge or Benedict in the Tower Annex under "Abandoned Quests" in their inventory. If it doesn't show there, can you provide screenshots of your Quests? Links to the images hosted on Imgur, Twitter, or any other public hosting site will work.
