1 ReplyNot for boss DPS but for synergy. The weapons perk is literally the stack on nanites for more damage and spawn nanites of precision kills. Rapid hit helps both of those things. ALL exotics should have perks that have great synergy with their intrinsic perks.

Edited by Erijian: 3/24/2020 6:44:52 PMExplain why Outbreak Prime, a primary weapon that reaches (and surpasses most) special weapon levels of DPS at maximum nanite buildup, needs to have even more DPS than it currently does..because I seriously see no reason for it to. Why not buff actual underperforming Exotics?

Edited by BossCharacter: 3/24/2020 6:01:45 PM
Seems simple enough. Thank you.
That thing would be busted, and very few(if any) pulses have rapid hit as a perk since it would essentially proc with one trigger pull.

It’s season of the auto so they probably won’t imagine sweet business becomes #1 primary dps
-
4 RepliesWe just did the Boss in GOS with outbreak prime. It took a lot of convincing, but my clan mates listened and it worked!

60 RepliesOutbreak is a primary weapon. It is not supposed to be a boss DPS weapon. Primary weapons are for taking down ads/mobs and team shooting majors. When you get primary weapons that “get out of their lane” like Recluse and Luna’s Howl, the devs pushback and you get painful, tedious content like The Reckoning. The Division 2s expansion is having the same problem right now. The devs like power creep run wild in the first game and it nearly destroyed the game. Now they are so gun shy that they are so obsessed with protecting the game’s difficulty (“challenge”) that they are struggling to make the game enjoyable. Has to feel powerful when you’re constantly getting swarmed by enemies and hiding/running for your life.... These games are about finding a sweet spot. On where you feel powerful, but are challenged to the point where you feel you NEED that power. That’s where the fun is. Turn the power up to broken? You get bored. Ratchet down the power? And you get angry and frustrated (what the point of grinding if they game always stays kick-you-in-the-face difficult??).

1 ReplyFam why do u want more stability on a gun that's alrdy so fking stable
-
Yeah I can get behind this. Do same to mida cat too

Community: Yes! Rapid Hit FTW! Bungie: we’ll inform the dev team but NO! Community:Why? Bungie: Reasons....
-
As hunter main with 9s dodge cooldown, I don't care ^^ No. More seriously, it will be fun to have Rapid Hit ( one of the best perk in the game for me ) instead of Outlaw. Outlaw, like so many perk is a dead perk. A perk you can't use before did at least one kill.
-
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh...................No ! Git Gud Scrub !! Sorry, just had too, am feeling very evil today.
-
8 RepliesI strongly disagree, it’s best to keep the outbreak with outlaw. To me it works better that way and simply put it rewards skilled gameplay on an otherwise easy to use gun, rewarding headshots is nice to me and I am fine with how the gun works now, no need to change it. Besides giving it unstoppable, barrier, or overload. Not giving those mods to exotics destroys every exotic primary in the game, a lot of content nowadays has these champions and allowing us to slot these mods or putting them in intrinsically would be very smart I believe, no need to make them do what barrier, unstoppable and overload do on legendaries just allow them to have the ability to disrupt at least one of the champion types, it would be the greatest change ever!
-
But that would give us variety and Bungie doesn’t want that
-
3 RepliesDid datto agree with this idea? If not then nope
-
Pop a rally barricade or lunafaction rift/well, or maybe some enhanced reload mods.
-
Bungie has always hated primaries as dps weapons. Remember Touch of Malice? Yeah, good times...
-
Would fit the gun better then outlaw for sure
-
2 RepliesRemember....any popular Perk will always to get nerfed By bungie...like Rampage. Bungie does not like if players happy to play. They want you to suffer playing their game. People spend time to get their FUN build..just to find it become useless because bunji nerf it. No wonder forum full of angry players..because of too many disappointments from nerf aka disrespecting players time.
-
1 ReplyThen a "bug" will occur where nanites dont stick to bosses and wont get fixed for over a year. I swear, sometimes these "bugs" seem intentional. Call me paranoid
-
Sure that would definatly make it stronger. But keep in mind that Lunafaction boots and rally barricades exist ;)
-
I mean. It is a primary.

6 RepliesEdited by EARWAK3R: 3/23/2020 5:13:12 AMWe have great boss dps still. 1k is badass, so is xenophage, and i never thought id say that. We have wells, divinity, bubble, tether. Bosses can still be 1 phased, and 2 phase should be easy for most intermediate raid teans Oubreak is fine where it is. We dont need primarys for boss dps. It would only end up nerfed to worse than it is now. Be happy.

1 ReplyJust use whisper lol
-
8 RepliesOutbreak prime is a D1 weapon that was literally copy/pasted into D2. It was perfect considering D1 gear perks, it is simply trash considering D2 gear perks. Making content is hard...!
-
10 RepliesBetter yet put outbreak prime back to the way it was in d1, with all the extra grips scopes perks and options. Better yet.... but allllll the weapons s back like they uses to be instead of this watered down hog crap we got now

Edited by Swift: 3/23/2020 2:57:49 PMunfortunately, that's exactly why it won't be changed
