I let a couple of guys talk me into trying trials this weekend... the experience is terrible if you aren’t 1000 light. I’m not good a pvp but people face tanking mountaintop with no shield is dumb.
Game health wise it’s going to cost the game players because the pve content is so light this season. Overtime average player will close that gear gap somewhat but the tryhards and no lifers will always have that advantage and it will make average players trying to improve in the trials game type not want to play.

1 ReplyStop blaming the power cap for your failings; once you’ve reached it, I’m sure you will find another excuse.

2 RepliesMax lvl is 1010 since there is no more artificial lvls due to the artifact being removed in trials and IB. Trials isn’t going anywhere. Play the game get ur lvl up and then try again. We will all still be here for your next excuse u will post about.....

2 RepliesPower enabled is fine but the huge gap in power that exists in D2 is the issue. D1 had a 15 light maximum gap between players in trials.

Trials is every weekend man. Even a casual will eventually hit the powerful cap, and due to a cap overall on the game mode, the most someone will have on you right now is +10. Not that big of an advantage. Also, I’ve been beat by teams well below my light level. They were just better.

1 ReplyEdited by Lore Oradon: 3/22/2020 6:16:46 PMOh STFU, I get people who are 967-999 who stomp me. And I'm 1,000. Do I suck? Or is it my team? 50-50. I see a big change from LLPA to just GSPA.

Edited by NYC_InfamousNick: 3/22/2020 12:58:57 PMYou need burst damage primary weapons and snipers against people of higher power. 110 Handcannons, bows, and to a lesser extent sidearms, all work well. Can’t say much about face-tanking MT-top but I can assure you that same person wouldn’t survive a Revoker headshot.
