I have played Destiny 2 since beta, this has been the worst patch I can remember for Beaver/weasel/anteater disconnects. The problem is 100% on your end, not mine. Your port forwarding issues don't actually help, had two of my network engineers look and them, those "solutions" you provide are for networks built 5 years ago. Please take responsibility for your mistakes and fix the problem.
Thank you!

Bungie doesn't care. They have our money, there is no need to continue caring once our hard earned money is in their accounts. They will just keep on blaming players for their sheer incompetence in providing stable connectivity to players.

This was posted March 18th, and the problem is only getting worse. I have been able to play for hours at a time, other times I can't get to the tower or the farm with out a beaver. Please fix your issues so this game is playable.

This is a physical law, like gravity and magnatism. Any network issue is always the customer’s fault and never ever the fault of the company or isp or any other entity. Might as well curse the dark.
-
Does anybody know when these morons plan to fix this crap. I played iron banner today and have the time I couldn't damage anyone or get damaged or capture zone. This shit is getting ridiculous and bungie needs to get off their asses and fix it already
-
it's the third week that this problem isn't going away, i have tried all the things that bungie and the community said but none of them works. It all started in the new season, i repeat, it's been 3 weeks of error, doesn't show npc or enemies, sometimes for 30 minutes the game go on and when i change area the problem arrive faster than speedy pizza. I don't know if bungie is trolling us changing the answer n about every post but i don't like this attitude. The famous people obv the game is perfetcly fine, almost 80% of normal community the same. The rest of us are a trash bag for you @bungie?

I feel you on this. I have had zero network issue until Season of the Worthy. I had to LOL when they told me to check my port forwarding. I told them to get stuffed and said I have zero network issue with every other online game I play.

Going on my second Comp suspension this week due to Beaver errors that WERE NOT MY FAULT. Can you actually not tell the difference between a player leaving a match intentionally (via returning to orbit or logging out) and a disconnect due to a bad connection? Stop punishing me and other players for your shoddy netcode.
-
nah man its totally awesome to get suspended from comp because of beavers.

Same here, getting kicked out of the tower, patrol, crucible and strikes with beaver errors. Seems to happen right after spawn in. PC Player, All ports open on my router, port forwarding enabled, UPnP enabled, open NAT, 1GBps fiber connection, hardwired to the router. This wan't happening before the new season patch. Please fix this, group activities are unplayable.
-
Hi. Thanks for your report. We're currently investigating these issues.
-
Same issues here. Three players on one network. Has NEVER been an issue until recently. Now the game is pretty much unplayable if we all want to play together. UPnP has been enabled on the router and all PCs. Followed Bungie's trouble shooting and everything, no luck. Constant Beavers, occasional Antelope, sometimes disconnect with no error code, just tells you to go to Bungie's help(less) page. Very frustrated. Three people who have paid for all the expansions and season passes and it's unplayable.
-
Same problem here, I can't play 30 minutes without getting error code beaver, weasel, or centipede. I'm on a wired connection that has no issues with any other game. I'm getting pretty frustrated with almost finishing shadowkeep altar events and getting booted halfway through the last wave
-
What year is it that people have to set up port forwarding? Maybe we should have to set jumpers ourself to make sure we get an interrupt Bungie likes
-
Been kicked 7 times since maintenance was finished. Most recently at Nightfall Boss. I'm done.
-
Funny how I only have network issues when Bungie patches the game and that it mysteriously only seems to affect Destiny
-
Good news for me is that I'm not the only one suffering this animal disconnects. Bad news is that Bungie is not doing anything. Ever since Season of the Worthy, I have an eff ton of disconnects and sometimes I get thrown to an empty Lake of Shadows strike.
-
Same issues on Xbox despite 2.8.0.1 patch and hard restart of the console.
-
After weekly reset I can't play on my Xbox one X. Select a character, black screen, then watercress. I'm not alone with this problem, all replies from bungie is that the network is faulty but no, it's not, I can play with other accounts on the same Xbox or on the pc. I've payed for these services, I never cheated, bought the season passes. My clan play on Xbox one.
-
Week 2 and I wont be able to do Trials again cause of these disconnects. Managed to get a few Seraph Tower events done before I disconnected, so at least I've got to experience SOME of the content. Great game Bungie, cant do half of the content because of these.
-
@BSXpress, Thanks for summing this up clearly. All the people stating: "Im not having this issue, so it must be you" are missing the point. This started for those affected with the launch of worthy. I've been playing with the same people just fine for over 6 months and suddenly we cant complete a simple strike. This is ridiculous, and the facts dictate something changed with this patch to affect our ability to group together successfully. The constant "Its your internet, not us" from bungie is laughable. As far as the players unaffected go, good for you, but doesn't mean there isnt a problem. Alot of those affected arent going to report, they are simply going to move on to a more stable game, something im sadly considering.
-
I can't play on PS4 at all since Trials launch. Game won't even load to character select screen. Game worked perfectly for 8 months prior. I've been creating threads about it since. Bungie replies and says "reinstall". I've reinstalled 5 times. No success. Very disappointing. :(
-
I think it's more global networks than Bungie. There have been huge demands on ISPs due to coronavirus and people staying home and binging Netflix. I'm not saying Bungie is perfect but there might be other factors at play.
-
You dont want the facts? Bungie doesnt fix peoples internet. Out of the hundreds of thousands of daily players, there are 30 or so posts about connection. You think bungie flips a magic switch to make some people have issues? Of course not, those players are less than 1 half percent of the player base. If it was a bungie issue, everyone would have the same effects, not 30 or 40 out of hundreds of thousands lol

who ever still posts port forwarding as a solution is really still living in 2000, no game needs that and it does not help at all! All devices have automatic port forward and open ports now!
