Clan size limit of 100 needs to be increased to accommodate multiple platforms ... recommend 200 - 300. Managing multiple clans for each platform is becoming very arduous.

1 ReplyTry removing inactive members.

Hmm I think the clans should be 1000 members, Im surprised it wasn't already... I actually thought it was, damn. Lol what's the point of a 100 member clan? that just feels like a fireteam. :D

Edited by Hydrilus: 3/18/2020 6:09:24 PMIncreasing the clan size shouldn't be that difficult to do on Bungie's end, but then again, based on how Destiny was designed, everything, even the simple shit, is apparently a huge pain in the ass to alter in any way. Increasing the size would be easiest I think, but I'd also be for an Alliance system. Clans as a whole need a lot of love... What Bungie has given us here is the most basic bare-bones system I've ever seen. We just use Discord anyway, but as an example, in the Bungie site's clan chat, Founders can delete other people's messages in the chat, but can't delete their own... Really tells you how well thought-out the system is.

1 ReplyLol. Like there’s enough people playing to fill a clan that size 😂😂😂😂

10 RepliesDon’t worry soon you’ll have no members when they wake up to the chore simulator they’re playing and you’ll have plenty of space then
-
3 RepliesStop hoarding members lol

Ahhh the good old times when creating clans had only one purpose: platinum D1.

12 RepliesI laughed because I can't tell if this is serious. My clan is for the most part dead and so are many others why in the world would we want more slots?

Edited by Mr.Shickadance: 3/19/2020 1:57:50 AM1st world problems... I’m the only one left in mine that still plays. Been like that for over a year. Haven’t completed a hawthorn bounty or a new clan banner in forever.

2 RepliesI would actually say reduce it. Make them more manageable of say 25 members. Then it may make them more active and you will have to commit to stay in...... There should also be more ways to chop up the clan into squads etc and emblems for clan leaders etc..... So much you could do with clans. My opinion anyway.

1 ReplyClans may actually be more practical and utilized more in game if they were smaller. I’ve played with 5/64 of my clan mates. Every clan I’ve been in has been this way.
-
1 ReplyYou have 49 people in your clan. Fill your ranks. Then, and only then you can ask for more space.
-
Needs to be more than that honestly. Some clans are in the thousands.

6 RepliesPersonally I think clans should be smaller, but I know that I am a weird case. To me, they should utilize groups for membership above 50. And then have a number of clans within the group. Maybe you could call them alliances within the group. To me the whole meaning of clan is a tightknit group loyal to each other. Not a mega LFG. But again I’m probably in the minority here.

Edited by Kanashimi510: 3/18/2020 5:54:28 PMI'd vote for this as I can see the benefits in some cases, but I don't think a clan should be "too big" as it could take away from that feeling of having a tight knit group. I'd personally rather have a decent sized clan, maybe 100-150 members, and an in-game option for matchmaking or lfg to fill spots as necessary. Unfortunately, my clan has been seeing a drop off of daily/weekly/monthly log-ins since the game went to the battle pass and seasonal add-on structure. As a clan leader, I don't rush to kick anyone out for a lack of activity (especially long term members), and I can personally see why many have chosen to sit this out for a while.

Agree 100%. Clan was topped off with Xbox users (hovering around 89 active). When half of the clan made the move to PC, our clan (Xbox players) essentially lost half of its "active" guardians. We had to separate into two clans to accommodate making it a logistics nightmare to moderate.
