Removing flawless from raid seals?
As a (kind of sweaty) raider, I was quite devastated when I learnt that the flawless completion was removed from the Enlightened title.
All the raid seals so far include a flawless completion, and rightfully so. You [b]should have to[/b] go to your limits to earn the right to boast a raid seal like Blacksmith, Shadow or Rivensbane. Why remove it from Enlightened?
Are flawless trials completions also going to be removed from the flawless seal because players aren‘t able to complete it? Or whatever the reasoning behind this might be?
Leave us raiders something, [b]ANYTHING[/b] to take pride in other than a third party raid report. I know we’re percentually a small number of the Destiny population, but grinding for these seals, spending blood, sweat and tears on flawless completions means everything to us.
I sincerely hope for the day where the efforts of us „minorities“ won‘t be spoiled by the cries of the masses.
Again, please take into consideration that a raid seal should require the highest of efforts from a team, and not just few challenges.

P.S. I’m sure an emblem for the flawless completion on Garden would ease the pain of many greatly.

1 ReplyI agree that raid seals should have triumphs that allow good raiders to get them. But seals don't make you any special... I use wayfarer. Because I collected every bit of loot in Y1 onwards and I enjoy the title. It shows I'm a veteran and enjoy collecting. You'll see very few wayfarers... Mostly because everyone is a dredgen or unbroken nowadays.

I’m case you missed the info, dmg tweeted saying it wasn’t supposed to be in the badge in the first place. Hopefully they change that, cause it’s pretty stupid.

7 RepliesWhen people see enlightened they don't think 'ooooooooh cool, a raid god'. They actually think 'ooooooooh look a guy with 5 friends'. No one cares only you, that's not meant in a nasty way.

6 RepliesFrom what I've heard, an OG Xbox One can hardly even run the final boss fight, let alone complete it flawless. Considering the game was put out on consoles first and foremost, it would make sense that they'd not block people from a seal because their own game design choices make it almost unplayable. Keep in mind that they know the specs the consoles run at and should be testing them the game in the worst of the worst for all scenarios like actual bug testing requires you to do. The fact it's as buggy as it is means they either can't fix it or refuse to, which would otherwise lock people out by Bungie's own hand.

1 ReplyGoS was one of the easier raids to complete without dying. But it is kind of lame it’s no longer a requirement, and even lamer that the shaded now drops randomly.

2 RepliesThis change just furthers the point that yeah bungie is catering for the casuals. Trials shows it so so much as does the pvp sandbox being a casuals playground. Raiders have always been a small but dedicated part of the community. We like to be challenged, rewarded for our dedication just like everyone else. We finally started getting some stuff for us exclusively and it’s almost all gone. Prestige raids lol replaced by “challenges” are you kidding me..... how are the “challenges” challenging? Raid seals being something just made for us.... now average joe can get one if they want. Is this the standard for the future of end game content? Does bungie actually want to push the endgame players out cause they have done a pretty bang up job of it so far. As is my only incentive to play is for tarrabah and heh what a reward that is. I really really want destiny to be that game I have a lot of desire to sign on everyday and play but it isn’t right now, I’m always willing to give it another chance.... again.... but every time I feel burned it gets harder to jump back in. September’s dlc will likely be the next chance I really give it. Pvp is a competitive laughing stock to anyone truly competitive. Raids aren’t challenging although they could do a Knick off hard mode by enabling contest as a different difficulty setting. Also as I wrote this I realized something I feel went right past a lot of people’s radar. Raids have raid loot and nightfalls don’t have anything exclusive to grandmaster difficulty right or at least they probably won’t. So why is the only semi hard thing in destiny have no exclusive rewards while raids hand loot out.

1 Replyfrom what i heard, originally Enlightened was not meant to have a flawless for the title. It was a bug, that shader was not meant to be in the collections. but i do agree with you on a flawless emblem. that would be amazing

4 RepliesAlso, the world is a mess, you haven't realised yet clearly, but what's currently happening in Italy and Spain, where there's that many dead they're having to send the military in to remove the bodies because the morgues are full, is coming to the country you live in, I'm guessing America but wherever, it's coming. People are dying, people are starving, and you're upset about a word in a game that makes you feel special, about nothing. People need to wake up

If the seal is specifically about the raid like Rivensbane, then yes flawless should be included in the seal. If the seal is about the season in general like blacksmith or shadow, then it shouldn’t be included.

12 RepliesI think thats fine since you shouldn’t lock someone out of a seal because they did flawless maybe give a exclusive emblem. I am missing only 1 thing for blacksmith and its flawless, dont think ill ever get it done since no one does SoTp anymore. And i think the reason it was removed is because of the massive sniper nerf (izanagi having slower honed edge and 20% less damage) making the encounters a little bit harder to 2 phase or 1 phase

It is IMPLICITLY required because you have to do flawless for the shader, for the collection badge, which is required to complete the Seal. Phew! Crisis averted! [b]Edit: Well, it's news to me that the shader is now otherwise obtainable. My bad. I have Enlightened. It's my favorite title. I'm personally not too fussed about it being slightly more available though. *shrug* Guess I don't lose my mind over other people having things in a game... lol...[/b]

1 ReplyTo he fair, I don't think it was ever people complaining about the title, Bungie just didn't want it to be so. I've never seen anyone complain about having to run a flawless raid for a title. I've done everything but flawless for Shadow and won't complain cause I've got 7 other titles anyway.

10 RepliesThey've got to revert this right? Like I feel like anybody who isn't mad about this hasn't done a flawless raid at all. I have all 4 raid titles and I am mad about the work I had to put in for Enlightened being removed. And reverting it would make hardcore players happy and not hurt a single person. I can't see the downsides. We have to keep seals difficult. That's they way they should be. I don't think I will ever get Flawless or Unbroken but I am not asking for the hard parts to be removed. Why is it ok for my titles to be made easier?
