Do exotic engrams not have dupe protection anymore?
I've been wanting to get Felwinter's Helm, so I bought Xur's engram but I got The Stag. Then I did a Nightfall and got another exotic, but it was Aeon Soul. I have all of the Warlock exotic armor, so I shouldn't be getting dupes, right?
Edit: I should probably clarify... I have all of the exotics [i]except[/i] Felwinter's.

4 RepliesDuplicate protection is kind of a joke. One piece of Phoenix Protocol is going to be different from another piece of Phoenix Protocol because one piece might be Arc and another might be Solar or one might have 58 stats and the other be 59. The only duplicate protection comes into play if you had not gotten every piece of exotic yet, and regarding the new warlock exotic, you can’t get that from Xur.

1 ReplyI was having this issue. I don’t think you can get the Y3 exotics from Xurs fated engram. Felwinters dropped from a regular exotic engram for me. Just level up the season pass and collect the exotic reward on your warlock. Should give it to you then.
