Hardlight
Hardlight is a joke. Hardlight equals cheesy kills with no skill at all. Anybody thats used to using skill weapons is at a severe disadvantage. If its not Hardlight then it doesnt work. Ricocheting bullets endlessly is not fun to anyone who actually wants to improve. Mindless spraying by low skilled people with 3 hardlights. There is no counter. Supers that arent range supers are useless and can be melted with ease. I remember when PVP was aboit skill. Not mindless spraying with double damage ricocheting bullets that have no damage falloff.

I don't understand. How have people not figured out that explosive payload works well against auto rifles? It literally drives up their TTK. I have a rap ahead explosive payload patron of loss causes that has been doing dirty, dirty things to people using hard light

2 RepliesDon’t be a hypochondriac. It’s popular not broken. YouTube and streamers did their job. They sold the weapon and now a lot of people are using it. Don’t like it then make a YouTube video praising some other weapon and make that weapon equally as popular. For instance Gravatron Lance.

Edited by joshjda: 3/15/2020 4:11:41 AMBecause spare rations with it's super fast ttk was just skill incarnate. Hardlight .7sec ttk(all headshots) spare rations .8 sec ttk(2 head 1 body). Guess what spare rations will still win you just have to actually try now.

Maybe bounce killing with Fighting Lion? I still cant believe everyone is complaining about Hardlight now. Wow. If a nerf is inbound... Please just dont give it back the "shakes"... Like someone else posted.. Maybe the power of the ricochet needs toned down. Gotta love the way the playerbase finds the weapon that reks everyone so fast... Reminds me of Prometheus lens...

I disagree. I made it to flawless today with none of us forum randoms using hard light. It was used against us plenty but we countered it with a little strategy.

I think it's great. Hard Light is a really fun gun and for most of d1 it wasn't great due to screen shake. Hard Light meta is maybe the best meta yet.

1 ReplyCouldn’t agree more. Hard light makes this game -blam!-ing boring. The flinch you receive when being shot by it is bullshit. All I’ve gotten in comp is a bunch of -blam!- running around just spamming hard light around corners. Spare rations actually required skill bc you actually needed to time your shots and be accurate rather than just holding R2. Stuff like this makes me want to quit destiny.

2 RepliesThis needs to be addressed ASAP, specially the bullet bounce extra damage, and maybe the ammo reserves to avoid this toxicity.
