Undo Orpheus Rigs Nerf NOW
Bungie, you guys did not need to nerf Orpheus Rigs this week. Please undo this nonsensical nerf immediately. This game is becoming too robotic for even the most loyal Destiny fans. Orpheus Rigs was not OP in any way, shape, or form prior to this nerf. When you nerfed it back in season 8, that felt like the most balanced this exotic has ever been and it needs to stay where it was.
Also, buff Skull of Dire Ahamkara. Not to the levels before it was nerfed, but this doesn’t even feel like an exotic anymore at all.

1 ReplyI agree with this, the return is crap. I've always played a support character and this latest nerf is crap. Like some have said, maybe add an additional perk to it, something small like overshield.

Heh. It's funny too, how they nerfed Orpheus a second time while giving out 2 really strong exotics out this season. Raiju's Harness, before it got taken out, gave striders basically unlimited super duration with the guard. Titan's exotic makes them even more of a pain in the ass to deal with in crucible, now that hiding behind their shields and shooting through them is a plausible idea (yes, I am aware the wall is taken down much more easily now, but the point still stands). And warlocks get the ability to literally pause their well timers. If that applies to well of radiance, that's going make this game stupid easy in some sections. Yet, they wanna nerf OR without giving a decent reason why. Lol, gg bungie. It's a good thing I still like how the guns pew-pew in this game, or i'd be hopping ship.

I really do hope they undo this ridiculous nerf and buff other super regen exotics that they’ve destroyed the past several months.

5 RepliesHunter main here. Haven't noticed the nerf to be honest. All of the activities where tether is appropriate also requires multiple Guardians. That means orbs galore. I've ran a pretty good amount of the EDZ events with Orpheus and I've performed just fine even underleveled. The only activity where this change will arguably screw people over is Reckoning. But lets be honest, who actually bothers with Reckoning when better weaponry is much more easily obtained?

1 ReplyLosing super regeneration is a slap in the face, but there are some enemies that are completely unaffected by the tether. I thought it was supposed to stun and slow down adds.

9 RepliesIt's really not bad at all. As usual, people are blowing a change out of proportion. Between the 50% return, teammates' orbs, and my own kills (sometimes combined with my Super-generating mods), I almost always have a tether primed when running top-tree Nightstalker. Maybe instead of wishing the game were easy-mode all the time (and then complaining that the game is easy-mode all the time), people should - I don't know - try [i]adapting to the change[/i]. If you can't adapt, then that's a [i]you[/i] problem, not a Destiny problem. I mean, the game is [i]still[/i] pretty easy overall. My friends and I have cleared the EDZ legendary lost sectors at 30+ Power below the suggested Power, for example. The public event is harder, frankly, and that's primarily because success (at this time) often depends on more than just your fireteam being there.

Truly there's only two options 1. Stop filling there coffers until you like what you see or hear. 2. Keep filling there coffers in hope they change something for the better. Sadly they have been doing this since Destiny 1. Me I chose option #1.
