Was able to play just fine with my fiance before the patch. Seems like since the patch comes out now it's an issue. We were playing together for a few hours tonight before *poof* we were kicked out of our group and left with an error message saying something about a Moderate NAT with our home network. This has never been an issue. Can someone please help? Not sure where I can contact Bungie for help either

Bungie has mentioned on Twitter that with Season of the Worthy they have made some updates to the networking. Could be a slight issue from the update but you could see about port forwarding and allowing UPnP if you do not have those active yet. I actually just got my NAT set to open yesterday from port forwarding. You may also want to try a wired connection if at all possible if you have not attempted it before. I also heard rumors that there are now only American servers. I am not sure if this is true or not but I could imagine this could possibly have an impact on this sort of thing which may be the cause of all of the error codes going around aswell if it is true. Sorry if you have tried all of these but this is all I really know about with what you have described and figured I should atleast mention it.

1 ReplyHi there, We’ve updated the Port Forwarding section of our Network Troubleshooting Guide. PC players experiencing BEAVER/-blam!- errors, empty Towers, or are unable to join Fireteams may need to update their UDP Destination Ports. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13610#PortForwarding

I access through Steam. A friend and I have the same issue. He gets punted repeatedly from the game when he joins my fireteam. I am unable to join his. "Moderate NAT" is the reason that it gives him. Both of us are using PCs and have been playing for months now with no issues.
