I am curious how many of us here in OffTopic have been reading the new CoC?

One of the items did not really sink in at first, but it is the Evasion rule. I am not quoting it directly because I forgot to copy it, so this is paraphrasing. Shush, I am being lazy dammit!
13. Evasion of bans, suspensions, or our language filter. EVASION is the act of avoiding or circumventing a ban, suspension, or our language filter.
It really hit me, they are basically saying, "We know you make alts & now, we will do something about it, if we wish to do so." I was like, "Damn, all zero of my alts are in jeopardy of being annihilated!" But I know some of you have them, so I kinda wanted to see how many folks noticed that & what other stuff did you really snap to, aside from the vagueness & the religion/political thing. Edit: Ok, I was not lazy & went to get it.
Moderator edit: This thread has been updated with tags that are more appropriate. • How can this be a discussion when there is never any interaction from those with whom it must be discussed? The only real thing I have any concern with in all this is that NO ONE KNOWS WHAT WORDS ARE BANNABLE! Back when, the -blam!- filter automatically caught all 'objectionable' words and replaced them with a simple little -blam!-. It worked, it was funny, and no one was unnecessarily banned, especially for saying something that they were able to say in the not so distant past with no ramifications. One of 2 things needs to happen; A) Reinstate the -blam!- filter and simply keep discussions open without banning people for offending when they did not know they were offending. Banning for words that are NOT KNOWN to be offensive is unconscionable and Bungie should be ashamed of themselves for doing this. B) POST THE BANNABLE WORD LIST! No one can then say that 'they didn't know' and the fault would lie squarely on themselves. But making some words that have gotten some individuals banned that have NO negative connotations or context is just mind boggling. Whomever made up this rule seriously needs to be reevaluated for the position they hold there.

Well, thanks to this being moved to the companion app sub-forum, this now makes no sense.

    • I hath actually read the new code placed upon us. Personally my whole speech earlier was not because I was angry for the political part. I didn’t really like the politics but just because I wanted to make sure we don’t fall apart and to relive some bordem. What I find silly is the evasion of the censorship for there are some words that are censored which we have no clue until we commit a unforeseen folly and speaketh the forbidden word. For example, there is a certain beholder crime lord in d&d campaigns which I talk of at times, but its name is censored for reasons I know not.
Anyways, hath thyself a bump.

Also I was promised a quest. Running all the way here in armor and robes is not comfortable.
• I don’t like the “evasion of our language filter” thing. If you’ve noticed the many different ways people can get around the censoring, why not change the filter to include them instead of telling us we’re not allowed to find the obvious loopholes? Some poor fool who didn’t read the CoC (me. I didn’t know about this rule until this post) is gonna get themselves a ban because the rules are weird.

        • There's a new CoC? And this wasn't communicated at all? Pretty sure that makes it null and void...
