Please change your basic, nobody even wants this info, crappy loading screen info to something useful like cool lore.
Thanks

Current goal for loading screen tips is to educate newer players on various features that they may not have had time with. As an experienced player, what else would you like to see in these tips besides lore?
-
you know its much more helpful if you make your suggestions without coming across as an asshole. Great suggestion horrible execution
-
I like the lore idea
-
I like to just see my ship through space without text or tips or other screen polution
-
That would be so much better or an option to turn it off.
-
Here's your lore: This week Eververse is selling [insert whatever].
-
One of the "tips" says our weapons and armour are safe in the vault... interesting considering how D2 started...
-
I know dmg posted below explaining it’s for “new players” but I honestly don’t see that many... However.... That being said, when I hop on D1 occasionally I see new players all the time. I’m talking grimoire score in the 100-500s!
-
Memes.
-
That’s a good idea
-
It's just an excuse to hid their stupidly long loads times and their inability to fix them. A distraction if you will.
-
How about options for that and one to turn them off?
-
Edited by NYC_InfamousNick: 3/12/2020 10:54:28 PMBungie: We’ve heard your feedback, so we’ve removed the lore tab from the triumphs page and all earned lore pages now cycle randomly while in loading screens. EDIT: Now that I know they’ve seen this: Bungie please don’t remove the lore tab. Just add the lore bits.
-
I second those who suggest an option to turn them off entirely. Unless I am mistaken, that isn’t an option currently right?
-
They'd have to hire Joe Staten back for cool lore.
-
This! Hands down! Maybe have a new player one time notification and then it translations to pore after they review or accept it but you don’t need to display this to probably 90%+ of your player base that you do.
-
You shouldn't be loading for long enough to read stuff like that.
-
Lore shouldnt be in the loading screen. If you have a good pc it takes less than 10 seconds to load into a zone, thats too fast to actually read the lore.
-
Fantastic idea
-
Love it. Great idea.
-
Maybe for newer players for like the first few days keep it at the basic tips. But after like a week it shows cool lore stories or even some crucible/strike/nightfall tips.
-
I don't mind it. D2 is a huge game, imagine how confusing everything can be for new players.
-
Yeah its getting on my nerve. Bungie, please put in a toggle so I can turn it off. Its ruining my view of the beautiful (or otherwise mundane) loading screen.
-
Edited by Guardian7258: 3/13/2020 3:50:35 AMIkR if if there tips are useful everyone that’s anyone that plays D2 knows this useless info, But I must admit 101 for dummies on travel/load screen just made the game a whole lot cooler 🤦🏻
-
actually, yes... as a crucible player mostly, i'm not too in depth with the lore. That isn't to say i'm not interested, just don't want to stop playing crucible to read it. Would love it if my loading screens were lore based.
-
No, lore is boring.
