Is Ana Bray a candidate for a new Hunter Vanguard?
Why else is she teaming up with Vuvuzela himself?

2 RepliesNo. Absolutely not. She’s our representative to Rasputin. Zavala respects Ana and he’s there to help her. Same way Cayde would’ve done for anyone in his fireteam or Ikora for Osiris.

No. She's too busy not knowing what to do with all the Futurescape facilities and prentending she can control Ras-daddy. In mind-lab, Rasputin integrates YOU.

She's technically a candidate but not a very good one. Her being the Hunter Vanguard would be a LOT like Osiris when he was the Warlock Vanguard.

I never quite got over how we needed an eerily cheery mildly teenagerish mannered person to translate a golden age warmind's every thought to us for her screentime. When the ghost exists and I'm pretty sure there's no canonical reason the warmind couldn't do the job itself if it wanted to like it did. Rasputin should've been like Calus, foreboding and immeasureable in our interactions. It was reduced to Ana bray's screen monitor. Yes I hold long grudges. Write them down.

4 RepliesAs a Hunter, she would be a candidate. But her desertion during Twilight Gap would seriously shake any chance of that and she wasn’t a known leader. Not sure if she fully counts as a Hunter anymore, either. But yeah, she could be a candidate. I’d consider Shiro-4, Marcus Ren, and some other Hunters to be better and more likely candidates, and of course Bungie will most likely use Uldren, but Ana’s role in D2 does give her a bigger chance of being used than most other Hunters.
