It's capped at 30 and I didn't even mess with the settings. I usually get 70-120fps. Even restarting my rig doesn't work

had the same problem and turning on off still didn't work :(. I discovered (by experimenting) that it was because I have 2 monitors and running full screen windowed destiny on 1, that when I clicked on the 2 monitor it dropped capped at 30 ( background) So in other words make sure destiny is not running in the background even though its still playable with a controller in the background (my problem)

Also having this issue. Turning framerate limiting off and on again in the video settings fixes it, but annoying this has to be done every time I launch the game.

2 RepliesThis is a known issue to Bungie. Currently, for most players, if you go into Settings - Video and ENABLE a Framerate Cap (if it isn't already), apply settings and then go back and Disable again and apply.... ((or, just change perhaps the number it's capped to if already enabled)) Sadly, this only works until the next time you start your Destiny game when you will have to repeat this process. For now. I too have this problem, running on an NVIDIA gpu and drivers (version 442.50; haven't updated to 442.59 just yet).
