Vex Combat Units
Has there been any lore on them besides Calus mentioning them, like where they are and what they’re doing?

14 RepliesThe Vex combat frames were first mentioned in the Books of Sorrow when Quria, Blade Transform, employed them to slaughter thousands of Hive in Oryx’s Throne during the Osmium Incursion. The only other mention was from Calus. Bungie will probably not develop the idea because that would mean creating entirely new units (though they most likely resemble Minotaurs). The combat Vex are just off doing their Vexy business in other places/times. Contrary to common belief, our one little solar system in one little timeline out of infinity is not worth such attention from the Vex. Imagine that right now in some other timeline the City is being attacked by combat Vex, or another where the Vex already took the solar system without even using combat Vex. There are infinite possibilities and infinite copies of the City for the Vex to try different equations on. Studying Oryx and the Ascendant Realm and deducing the Sword Logic were worth the attention.

So far no mention of Vex combat frames entering the fray. It's possible that either the Vex don't consider us enough of a threat or that sol isn't important enough to them

First off, love the name, and I can’t wait to get your weapon this season. Second, I was hoping we’d see some in season of Undying, but I guess it makes sense since the Sol Divisive is kind of a heretical version of the Vex. Perhaps the rest of the vex don’t deem us as a threat, or maybe see the darkness is comi N and want to wait until the two sides kill each other
