Bungie used to have a design philosophy

Back in Destiny, Bungie made it clear that the character classes had a very specific design philosophy in mind. Each class would have a relative armor to fabric ratio to represent them. Titans - 75% armor / 25% fabric Hunters - 50% armor / 50% fabric Warlocks 25% armor / 75% fabric This was the guideline they designed armors from, this was the mold into which they poured their creativity and artistic spark. It wasn’t a HARD rule. Leeway was always necessary to accomplish stylistic flourish and themes, but for better or for worse when a new armor set was released you always had an idea of what you were going to see. Sometimes Warlocks got a lot more armor. Sometimes Titans got a little less. But you could always tell what you were looking at from a glance. This upcoming season’s EV Titan armor is the worst thing I’ve seen in either the first or second Destiny game. I’ve never had so many of my Destiny friends confuse the Titan and Hunter armors before. What’s worse is that I’m certain Bungie was aware of just how unpopular their design choice was going to be. How? Because they made it a point to include the Titan and Hunter symbols right out on the front of the armors. Hunters have their symbol on the arm, Titans on the mark. The Warlock, by comparison, does not have their symbol placed as obviously. The Warlock eagle/hawk seems to be included in the armor design, but the W/crown is not on the front like the other 2 classes. This, to me, speaks volumes. They were aware of the potential confusion. They felt it necessary to brand the armor so as to minimize misidentification. That’s poor design. And I will die mad about this.
