edit: bungie can u pls answer to my Case ID: 13621 via email
so quick backstory 1 day ago a friend started playing destiny 2,
i have never played this game so he asked me to play with i him.
have downloaded it, completed the tutorial and was waiting in town.
an other friend asked me to update a cheat i created for HeavenDust is a singleplayer indie game.
yes i create cheattables for singleplayer games but thats a totally different story...
so dont blame me for cheating i was never cheating in multiplayergames my account is clean for almost 12 years i would never use anycheats in mp games.
just check my account for example warframe over 4500hours gameplay....
how this happend !
startet heavendust and ce (destiny2 running in background)
during the selection process in ce i accidentally clicked on destiny2.exe
after a few seconds i was banned without doing anything (so it was a bot autoban).
btw is was a VAC Ban even Destiny SteamStore has no VAC in discription listen otherwise i would close every vac protected game 1st before using ce
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1085660/Destiny_2/
each game which is VAC Protected got this VAC infomation in SteamStorePage
but destiny not for example...
https://store.steampowered.com/app/730/CounterStrike_Global_Offensive/
now im really pi$$ed my almost 12years steam account is now VAC flagged (i have never cheated in multiplayer games) and started some reseach, reading the code of conduct, ban polici etc.
saw yong´s video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yg7IMjyis84&t=5s
so i have to reconstruct the ban.
and here is the proof banned for doing nothing my cheatengine version is unsigned with changed strings to use it with resident evil 2(singleplayergame anticheat protected)
https://youtu.be/Mo83fhnGUFQ
bungie if u really review possible violations u will see no scans, no memory changes, no cheating has been done with all my accounts.
be carefull even if u click the destiny process will retult in a ban.
fact is the ban was triggered automatically without reviews and people should know that.
i dont care if bungie unban me i would never ever play this game again cuz they flagged my account

(Bans and restriction are not applied automatically.
Bungie reviews all possible violations before applying a ban or restriction to an account or device.)"

Any software being detected by Destiny while it's running. These could include Trainers, Aimbots, Auto-fire, Mods, Graphics Hacks, Network Accelerators anything that injects code into games. This includes any cheats etc that you use for other games DESTINY 2 PC AND THIRD-PARTY APPLICATION FEATURE COMPATIBILITY Also see Steam Service Agreement section 4. ONLINE CONDUCT, CHEATING, AND ILLEGAL BEHAVIOR

VAC does not apply to Destiny. However, your account will be flagged with a VAC ban if you are banned from Destiny. You were running CheatEngine. It doesn't matter the game. They saw it, they applied the ban. Period.
startet heavendust and ce (destiny2 running in background) during the selection process in ce i accidentally clicked on destiny2.exe
Definitely not a false positive, as you admitted that you were running cheats. I completely believe that it was an accident too. Totally believable. You can try to appeal, but I guarantee it will not be lifted in your case.
Bans are generally due to having a program running at the same time as Destiny that shouldn't be. These can be, but are not limited to: trainers/aimbots/cheats/debuggers. Any software used for programming even if it is used for school/work. The previously listed do not need to be intended for Destiny, just having them running at the same time is a big no-no. Some viruses can cause issue. Playing in a premade team with those that are cheating is a no-no. Manipulating network traffic to gain an advantage is a no-no. You can attempt to appeal by following the link below, but I would not get your hopes up, as the initial flag is checked by Bungie SRT staff prior to a ban being placed. 6 RepliesEdited by mrbird33: 3/7/2020 1:56:54 PMTherez no " auto bans" nor are there " false positives". Srt manually investigated your account, found violations, and manually placed the ban. Cheat engines, not matter the game , will get you banned from destiny if detected

2 RepliesSounds like you need to pay closer attention to the terms and conditions which pop up when you start to play any game. More so for any game which is constantly online like Destiny. Bungie warned you and have a well founded reason to take a hardline approach to these things. If you think you were unjustly banned after a investigation of what you did wrong then fill in the ban appeal form. For the good of the many players.

9 RepliesDoesn’t sound like a false positive to me! Not only were you running CE (which Bungie has repeatedly said not to), but you also selected D2 has the process to hook to in CE.
