Capped at 50%. Jesus christ. They really dont like when people have fun do they. Its play how they want you to play or they will nerf your sh*t into 3rd world poverty.

1 ReplyMildly infuriating, but it was coming. They tried to dumb it down the first time by limiting how much energy each enemy type gave, but all you needed was a horde of enemies and you got full super back anyway. This makes it so neither type nor amount of enemies will give you full back. Good thing we have a thing called Bad JuJu that provides super energy the more you kill. Orpheus Rig didn't get massacred. You can still use it outside of the Well and Mayhem. Can't say the same about Galanor.

12 RepliesBlame it on Trial and PvP

8 RepliesThat's cute. You think your nerf is bad? Lol go try using a Dire Skull, then hmu.
-
3 RepliesIts fiiiiiine

Edited by Soul_Eater_42: 3/9/2020 3:38:28 AMWelp, now they'll only be usable for Mobius Quiver. They should have redesigned them with a new ability for top tree Nightstalker if they have such a problem with players regenerating their Supers quickly.

There goes my reckoning farming. Oh wait, weapon retirement. There goes farming for anything in any activity pointless period. Fuk...
-
Because 50% of your super isn’t a lot
-
It previously got nerfed from 100% to 80%. This really didn’t do anything since killing the ads also gave back some super + if anyone else made any orbs you were right back up. All this 50% nerf does is make it so it’s not likely you can spam 1 shot after another. Likely, if you’re in a fireteam and picking up their orbs, you’ll be at 60-80% full on a good tether. Still very useful, just not spammable. Not murdered.

Edited by BlueKiBlast: 3/8/2020 10:48:41 AMSomeone uses whether. They get 50% super back and create a bunch of orbs You use tether and get 50% super back, collect teams orbs and you got your super back, he collects your orbs and has his back. Grow up with these post.

7 RepliesThat moment when you realize year 1 version of exotics was better. Shame we lost Josh Hamrick, he was one of the few who tried to give us power fantasy back. Now, it just keeps getting worse every season, while 90% of the exotics are left there to rot. What even is the point of equipping an exotic anymore?
-
4 RepliesThe more I think about it the more I realize it isn't about the 50% cap return on super energy. Its that they aren't buffing something to balance it out like orb generation. Or buffing our secondary abilities. If y'all remember one of the nerfs to rigs was orb generation. (I seem to recall they nerfed the amount of damage which was chained also?) So not only are they capping rigs 50% but they aren't doing anything to offset it. Or the amount of super energy returned when picking up orbs. Will I still use rigs? Yes. For night stalker it will still be one of the best exotics available. Because when I look at the hunter exotics, there are only four I consistantly use. The rest just don't impress me. If they happen to Orpheus rigs again. I just won't run an exotic. Dont tell us you want us to feel power then yank that power away.

2 RepliesProbably one of the most annoying design philosophies Bungie has is deciding FOR us when we’re using gear too much and when we need to be forced to start using other gear. Who CARES if I use one piece of gear all the time? Seriously. What does it actually matter? Who am I actually hurting? If Bungie wants me to use something else, they should design something WORTH USING, not decide for me.

Edited by juppstrunz911: 3/8/2020 2:35:00 PMYes like everything what ist strong or useful so why wonder?
-
8 RepliesYep. Only good pve hunter build is Goldie with nighthawk now.
-
5 RepliesEdited by VETERAN1775: 3/6/2020 8:49:15 AMYup, it will collect dust like shards. No one will use them now. These items are no longer worth the exotic slot. Using tether as a hunter is already the least fun class. It is exotic armor retirement lol!!!
-
2 RepliesI’m done. This is the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard.
-
Warlock main here, and this really does suck. It doesn't matter that hunters had the best super regen gear, because every super was making orbs. I couldn't get my supers back with Skull anymore, but at least my buddy running Rigs was able to keep me swimming in the orbs.
-
3 RepliesYup. The nerfs to the space magic continue to make our characters less powerful. Fun, fun, fun.
-
3 RepliesFarm your reckoning weapons while you can if you don't have a steady group to play with.
-
Maybe rework them? A hit with bow makes the entire fireteam invisible?
-
2 RepliesWell BungLe does reside in California, bro
-
Hey now you know how warlocks felt when the helmet wasnt even buffed and got 10% of your super back then to get buffed then nerfed again
-
My biggest problem is what's the point of using something else for Way of the Trapper in PvE? Maybe The Sixthe Coyote? High mobility works similarly though. Stompees? Maybe? Maybe Graviton Forfeit? Frostees don't really make a huge difference, and they don't take shaders well. Dragon's Shadow isn't really necessary for PvE. The list goes on. Orpheus Rig was the best because it was so good, yes. But it was also the best because not many other exotics enhance that class very well. Maybe Kepris after the buff? But even then those are way better on the other tress. Only things I can really justify for PvE are gonna be Forfeit and Stompees, once of which is drastically better than the other. But who knows? Maybe with the subclass changes we're gonna get Trapper will get something that makes it synergize with more exotics. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

15 RepliesLoL! Many are not surprised as it was stupid good even after its first nerf. Clearly a best option. Might actually need like, teamwork, and call supers so people can make orbs and chain supers. Crazy idea i know. Also if anyone needs this item in it's current state to complete content maybe consider leveling up your play.
-
1 ReplyYeah because nothing says "play my way" than basically not being able to use top tree-Nightstalker in any content without these boots being a requirement. When Bungie has to design content around the knowledge a fireteam could have a Hunter with an add-control super almost always available, we get encounters like the bridge in Reckoning. Do you want MORE encounters like that? Because I sure as -blam!- don't. Here's hoping Shards of Galanor in "enhanced super recharge" activities is next to the guillotine. Sincerely, a Hunter main since D1 beta.

6 RepliesI'm starting to realize that people will complain about literally anything. I main Contraverse Handheld in comp but you don't see me complaining about the changes to it. Oh no, they gutted OEM! Oh no, they gutted Rigs! Oh no, they gutted my dog! Oh no, they gutted Uldren's character arc! Buncha b*tches. Honestly.
