Fusion rifles need to go or get a serious range nerf. That’s right erentil-fr4 is broken.
Consistently have been going against every team in Comp that just want to use nothing but erentils. That’s all fine and dandy but whenever it comes down to actual skill it takes literally zero. The fact that it can roll with range finder is beyond ridiculous. It also rolls with backup plan, which I don’t have a problem with but the fact that, that’s all what people rely on (the gun with that perk) is ridiculous and can kill through a super?? No f-ing way dude. Fix your bullshit gun bungie. It’s been the meta for the past 3-4 seasons and it’s out of hand.

1 ReplyI hate people like you. You don't even know what range finder does on a fusion rifle. Pro tip: it doesn't extend the range. It speeds up bolt travel time, much like range finder on a grenade launcher. You wanna hate on fusions, that's fine. You go on ahead. I ain't got no beef with that. #Freedom But at least put together a well reasoned/formed post with actual facts and not made up 'my thoughts are facts and Devs should do something about this right now or the game will die right now'

I’m still going to use Erentil to counter Spare Rations/ Mindbenders as well as anything else at my disposal I find effective come next season.

Comp isn't about skill. It's about winning. If you aren't winning, you aren't getting anything done in the playlist. Comp promotes the use of dirty and cheap loadouts, because there's no incentive to losing matches. In higher tiers of comp, that's all you see. Losing matches = Wasting time

Don't worry though they're nerfing them so no need to continue -blam!-, now they probably won't be used even close to 5% while shotguns will be 3x-4x that. Well until whatever else you think may challenge the almighty shotgun that has been meta for almost the entire game. Oh wait snipers are coming up and Last Hope is back in play, can't wait to hear you -blam!- about them.
