While I am for weapon retirement (boo downvote to hell!) there is one thing that needs to be said about pinnacle weapons. These weapons felt like a huge achievement when earned which is great however, to have them stripped from our hands after earning them feels like a huge slap in the face. Yes, they are like exotics with the perks that they have but they were made this way so that they felt worth the grind. All I'm asking from Bungie with this post is to consider either taking pinnacles along or at least introduce new pinnacles that are comparable to the ones that will be left behind, otherwise I feel this decision to retire weapons will hurt the already waning trust in the community right now as apparent by all the other posts regarding this issue. Heck I'd even take pinnacles becoming exotics after they've been "retired" so that they are at least there in the pinnacle activities only now with the limiting exotic factor to consider.
