Give us a true horde mode. Rotate enemy types each week, have modifiers change each round, maybe let us unlock buffs and defenses using the glimmer we gain.
Have a leaderboard and armor ornaments for each enemy type that you earn by reaching certain thresholds when they are active. Could do the same for weapons. Call it "City seige" or something idk, it'd be like playing through twilight gap kinda.
I feel like with the right loot and incentives, especially the leaderboard, you would see a lot of player involvement and streamers going for the top spots. Only question is to make it 6 man or 3.

When I first heard of the Osiris DLC I thought the infinite forest would actually be infinite, and would bring a super cool type of horde mode... But no. Content = Hard

1 ReplyAn endless horde mode that got progressively harder would be a lot of fun. The farther you get the better the reward. They keep creating these horde modes but they only last like 3 rounds or have those lame objectives like “grab a ball and bring it here”

1 ReplyI really enjoyed Firefight back in the Halo 3: ODST days so its certainly something they know how to do. I'd love to see this with vehicles as well.

1 ReplyI thought that Escalation, Blind Well, and the Forges were going to be this. Could be a little troubling with my favourite pve combo of Frosties, max mobility, and Smoke bombs from Pathfinder. There’s hardly a moment when you aren’t invisible, but then again the downside is that you can’t attack, so maybe it’s not so much of an issue as I thought.
