Got Banned while playing a different game...
I was playing destiny 2 and decided to stop playing. I switched to Pcsx2 (Ps2 Emulator),but I kept the Destiny 2 tab open. I used Cheat Engine to switch values in a ps2 ROM and i think Destiny 2 picked it up and banned me for it , i don't really know how the whole system works. I've been banned for probably a year now and wanted inform Bungie about this. Is there any way to explain this to them?

Your account was banned on Nov 9th when an application designed to read and modify the memory of other applications at runtime was detected targeting the Destiny 2 game client directly. This is, at minimum, a violation of Bungie's policies against runtime analysis. It is the responsibility of each player to understand what software is running on their device and how it interacts with other applications. The data leading to your ban has been reviewed and validated. However, since you were running/using CheatEngine while also having D2 open, then your appeal will be denied.

You can review the appeals process at bungie.net/bans but your odds of getting it overturned are incredibly slim.
