Hello so basically I was a little hesitant to make this post and let me explain why. The reason why I'm here is because I got a competitive ban in the crucible. I was doing pretty bad but luckily my group is pretty skilled and carried through the match considering its my first match of the day. We all finished our game and had gotten a error code named code: "anteater" while winning 4-0. which if you don't know is a server error that is common and is "the result of ISP issues, packet loss, complications with various network hardware, Wi-Fi glitches and other impacting variables to general connection stability. We recommend as a first step that players ensure their current connection is working as intended to remove any outside variables. "look I know my internet is pretty bad but geez. I'm also VERY sure it was a DDOS attack. Anyways, we won the game but did not receive any of the points. Just like any other ordinary person would do he made a post on these forums with I believe the name "Codibus" to fix the issue. We waited for the temporary suspension after awhile and so we all had and proceeded to queue for a game which i got banned for. It happens to be quite unfortunate but I knew what this meant. I had once read in another forum discussing "bans are permanent and restrictions are temporary. Bungie will not discuss or overturn them " which was written by a ANOTHER person named milky on the forums stating the ban policy. I've been with bungie for around 5 years and I understand that really there is nothing I can really do within my power to allow me to continue and play the game as I casually do. The destiny grind is real. The amount of hours and weapons are hard earned. It takes a lot of dedication. I'm pretty decent at the game and transferred from console. I've been around since d1 release so I would say around 5 years. I already uninstalled the game and I do not play on touching it again any time soon. Hopefully someone gets the chance to read this. I'm not too worried about my account considering its already banned but hope someone looks into it and resolves it somehow or something. The only really thing that's sitting in the back of my mind is like all I did was just use a controller. sooo :/ if anyone was wondering 182499 dys (499years). Edit: survival bannerfall.
