Cross Save not working? Have to wait 6 months before I can redo it?
About a few months ago, I linked my Bungie profile to my old steam account. Then, I deleted the steam account. When I went to make a new steam account and link it to my Bungie account, they match in Steam IDs yet I cant cross save. When I go to authenticate my steam to Bungie, it tells me my Steam account isnt the currently linked account even though my old one is deleted and my current one matches the ID. I cant deactivate cross save for 3 months due to a silver purchase around Valentine's Day, and if I waited, Id have to wait another 3 months just to reactivate cross save. Is there something I am doing wrong? It seems absurd that I have to wait 6 months just to attempt to redo my cross save

You can request cross-save deactivation from Bungie, using the form at the bottom of this article: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=48099 Note that you will still need to wait 90 days after cross-save has been deactivated to be able to activate it again.
