Those of you with Rose colored glasses
How much rioting went on when fatebringer was shelved? D1 was the supreme version of Destiny right? You’re outraged by the power level advantage in trials. We don’t have all the details yet. Can you all calm down? Some of you are giving great ideas, but most of you are just being abusive to the developer. Relax.
Edit: Looks like people below were wrong about them putting a cap on the artifact or disabling it. You can now sit in your pool of foolishness

This is why you don’t flip until we have all the information. I knew they wouldn’t let trials come back this broken.

The thing is, bungie realized that the cap wasn’t a good idea in d1 and changed it so that you could upgrade all of your weapons to the highest light. That change stuck in d2 and now we’re going back to how early d1 was.

3 RepliesI was pretty shocked and disappointed by the changes announced but after sitting back and thinking about it they are probably good for the game. BUT...Bungie honestly brings on this backlash themselves by not properly explaining anything time and again. They didn’t even MENTION that the Artifact would be disabled in Trials to stop unlimited Power gains. That was an extremely important note to leave out. Capping the Power on Legendaries kind of ruins the “open world sandbox” we have right now but I understand this will make it easier to balance future content for the weapons available. Sometimes I just think Bungie enjoys the negative press they get simply because “any press is good press”

Cozmo tweeted that light level is enabled for trials and it will use the artifact power level. This is the official forum for feedback and discussing D2, so this is where players should give their feedback and discuss their opinions.

9 Replies170 Her Benevolence looked terrible next to all 400 gear. And rather than nerf the Black Hammer they just made it a useless Power level then reintroduced it as a nerfed version, as an Exotic. Whoo.
