It happens anyways when they get nerfed. I wouldn’t get too bent out of shape over it.

Except that hardly applies here. Austringer is entirely fine. why would it suddenly be nerfed super hard? Even then a Nerf does not force you to have to regrind to get a new one. This situation actually makes it no reason to grind for ANY weapons.

It somewhat applies here, ppl disagree with the changes and nothing we say or do will stop bungie from applying the changes. As far as using other weapons go, say I want to do a pinnacle activity, 9/10 of the lfg groups prefer the meta over new stuff and go as low as kicking ppl for not having what they prefer. Resulting in me using meta weapons, which got boring. I get why y’all don’t like this change though. Y1D1 I lost count of how many raids I ran to get fatebringer, black hammer, g horn, etc..., all just to get nerfed and left behind until Y3. Even worse was D2 and everything we got before in D1 not coming with us. But who knows, maybe another great weapon will come and then get left behind.
