I rewatched Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, its really underrated

Why did it get so much hate then it need to? There was no other way to bring the Dinos to the mainland without being less cheesy or cliche of a plot then other ideas on the internet. I think they handled it really well given the fact Trevorrow was supposed to direct Episode 9 but Kathleen Sith Lord decided his idea ain't good enough. So yeah the second hybrid dinosaur wasn't necessary, but to be honest for having them use for war it wasn't as cartoony but more so realistic then dinos holding guns lol. But I liked the movie, had a Lost World vibe which I liked and yeah Chris Pratts character was plot proof cause volcanic ash and lava will f you up but hey its just a movie. But I liked it, anyone else? Oh and more use of animatronics was nice
Why did it get so much hate then it need to?
Because the set up for the entire narrative is silly. Many plot lines felt disjointed, weird or simply lacked a good payoff while the escape sequences were unbelievable even by Jurassic Park standards. Oh, and the T-Rex helps save the day again. It's not the worst movie, but it stumbles so much that it is most certainly not underrated. The harsh criticisms are 100% fair and warranted for a AAA movie.

 • Uh, no. The second you have genetically modified dinosaurs for use in a war, reality goes out the window. By that point you might as well have given them swords or lasers attached, since....why not? Any dinosaurs that made it to the mainland won't be a danger of breeding beyond a generation or two at best (genetics and lack of diversity) so that was a pretty pointless plotline. Worst? No, just disappointing.

 • It’s a reskin of Lost World: Jurassic Park.

 • It was good entertainment if I turned my brain off and enjoyed it for purely nostalgic reasons (never mind that they blew up the island though...). It was shallow. Nothing like it’s predecessor, nor the original Jurassic Park. I mean if you have your target in your sights with a rifle, why not just pull the trigger instead of sicking your 10 foot tall reptile dog on him? There were too many plot holes. I don’t hate it. I liked it... for what it was.
Still a better story than the Star Wars Sequels though...
• I enjoyed it as well, although the plot kind of falls apart when the more you think about. Having said that, it’s executed rather well, even if certain plot elements are rather daft. When I found out about the basic plot synopsis ( remove the Dinosaurs from the Island ), I thought it would end up being just as big a train wreck as JurassicPark: Lost World, but thankfully the filmmakers of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom have a much better grasp as to what works in this franchise, and what doesn’t. So, much like the first Jurassic World movie, despite its faults, it’s still able to replicate some/most of the magic that made the original Jurassic Park film so beloved.

 • I enjoyed it, although I wouldn't call creating a genetic hybrid dino for war realistic in any way, shape, or form. There's a reason we don't use tigers, bears, or moose for that matter. Even when we did use elephants and horses they were more for mobilizing troops than attacking on their own. Hell, we drove mammoths to extinction with little more than pointy sticks. A dino (even a genetically modified one) isn't gonna last long and it's an inefficient use of resources to house, raise, and feed.

 • I don't know. I liked the movie. I like that it actually felt more like a horror movie than any of the others, and that made it a really fun watch. I just don't know what they're gonna do now that there are dinos on the mainland. Also the little girl sucks. "ThEy'Re LIkE mE" except for the part where they can rip a person to shreds in seconds.
