I am posting this in the hopes that the Bungie developers have complete awareness and transparency over this issue. I have Purchased Destiny TTK Legendary Edition Disc Version twice in hopes that the included codes would unlock the Taken King Content. However, this did not happen. I spoke with several Playstation representatives about this issue and they all sent me a link to Bungie's support page, which turns out to not have any contact information to speak with the developers directly. After sending tweets to Bungie over this issue, I yielded no response from them. So I, to my own detriment, bought a digital version of the game that I hoped was the upgrade to the Destiny - The Taken King Digital Collector's Edition but turned out to only be the standard upgrade. I just had a conversation with Playstation support again and they said they could not rectify the upgrade since an upgrade to DCE did not exist. After the re-purchasing of the games and spending extra money to get the content I've been desiring for the past month, I am exhausted from having to speak about this issue with no foreseeable support from PlayStation or Bungie. I understand that Destiny 1 is in he past but there are still plenty people that play this game and no one at this point should have to endure this and the developers lack of decency to at least reply to your support questions. I don't care if this matter gets addressed or not at this point. The only thing I will say to the bungie developers is that you do right by players of the 1st game and streamline the upgrading infrastructure, whether there's an interest in it or not. Reinstate the upgrade from the base game to TCE or LE content so no one experiences what I had. At the minimum, developers, at least respond the support tweets if that's the only way any of us can reach out to you.

I gotta know...what the hell possessed you to buy it again after you realized the first one had expired codes? 🤔

You need to take up your issue with the retailer you purchased from, as they sold you a faulty product. As others have said, Bungie do not provide these codes, and it is up to the retailers to make sure they aren't selling a product as new, when it now holds expired codes.

Bungie has nothing to do with the codes. Bungie never made the codes. That is all on Sony and Microsoft. This has been told to people over and over again. If you buy a disc for a game that is over 3 years old with codes, the codes most likely are expired and if you want a refund, you must go to the retailer.
