Relegate China Players To Their Own Lobbies
This is not a joke. This is not racism, it could include anyone playing from China. Players from China have, without a doubt, the worst connections of any players. Now I’m going off of guild and name characters, and sometimes Steam profiles so I realize not every single player might be from China, but as a player from SE Asia I get matched with a lot of them. They are almost always teleporting around, hits don’t register on them. It’s disgusting how bad the performance is against them I’d say at least 70% of the time. I don’t mind playing against players from any other part of the world as much as I hate the level of lag against players from China. Idk if it’s the necessary use of VPNs or what but it’s beyond bad. My guess is that due to the most likely high use of VPNs and lack of CBMM, which is really suspect even in classic mix, these players are getting placed with people they shouldn’t be anywhere near.

I agree. And not just China alone, korean and japanese players are really bad and they tend to DDoS you if you kill them in pvp

Due to the horrible internet connection when we play PVP we end up getting banned in order to protect other players experience (which makes sense to me) Don't think there is racism in those comments, there is just bad internet. If Bungie put us together and eliminate the banning due to poor connection I think it would be a win-win situation for everyone.

That’s why p2p system is flawed, the person who has great internet still has to deal with connection issues because of other people using the wifi from the Starbucks next door to play crucible

There is not enough players to fill the matches. The wait time is already feels long compared to during forsaken.

The very fact that you had the preempt the non “racist” nature of your post should have been enough of an indication that it probably wasn’t the best way to articulate your thoughts, and was bound to be controversial. Which is a shame as it takes away from the core of what you are trying to say which many have indicated revolves around region locking and ping management. 2. You offer no empirical data point to susbtantiate your claim which comes across as anecdotal and biased, doing little to alleviate the subjective and controversial nature of your post. 3. What you may have not considered when posting is that stigmatising and ostracising an entire country without considerations for the diverse play base it has (some with good connections, some with bad connections, some cheating, some who don’t etc.) makes you come across as selfish at best and xenophobic at worst. What happens to the individuals located in China that do have good connection? Why should their play experience be any different than yours or the rest of the world for your personal sake? Time and time again, history has showed that generalisation hinders any chance for a healthy and constructive discussion; And more often than not is just a slippery slope to unnecessary controversies and tensions.

To be honest no matter what country there is plenty of players with bad connection. Imagine some some people still have 6mb or less and use wifi. Hell some people have 50 mb but 30 active devises draining their connection. At last there is even 1gb users who have never turned their systems off. Truth is though we should have regional matchmaking, its not going to stop the teleporting players who live in your state.

I think bungie should make connection brackets and only pair up with one person above or below your connection status unless the nearest person under those condition falls under a new time zone

Other online games have a region lock option where you can only play with other players from the same country. Like North America cannot play with South America or the UK. It should be an option in the settings. I imagine they do it to limit strain on the servers, but I guess that would require destiny to have dedicated servers in the first place.
