Ive been playing destiny since The Taken King Expansion and I've been keeping up to date with the series up until D2 which i took a break from feeling like the game at the beginning hadn't learnt from the mistakes made back in D1. Since i made a return to D2 at the late end of the season of opulence i had grown to enjoy D2 more however since the season the start of season of Dawn I've been feeling more and more dissatisfied with the game for a number of factors which have slowly pushed me away from the game more similar to how i felt near the beginning of the games release. Regarding PVE i've recently felt less incentivised to play as getting pinnicle gear boils down to the same grind each week. Another issue i have is with the stats on armor as i feel like going for a specific piece of gear that's not raid gear is pointless as its stats are going to be worse than piece of gear gotten from the GoS raid and that leads me onto my next issue which is that at the moment there seems to be little to no incentive to play through raids other than Garden of Salvation as the drops from the raids aren't pinnacle which in turn makes finding a raid group difficult to find and nearly impossible for people new to the raid to get in as most players want people with experience for a quick run. Now onto PVP, firstly the crucible in this game to me just seems like a lesson not learnt from D1 as special weapons are the more dominant weapons and primary fights seem to be few and far between. The crucible has become something i avoid now as i know that I'm not going to have a good time with it which is a real dissapointment for me as i loved pvp in D1 especially the Trial of osiris. With how things are going I've got to be optimistic that with new content drops things will start to improve but for now i think im gonna take some time away from the game as in its current state I'm not to eager to play anymore.
