Honestly, it has just been disappointment after disappointment with these updates. There was that roleback update that everyone disliked, then there was the false advertising about the 'connecting' sparrows for Crimson days that don't actually connect or serve any purpose. And now with the nerfs across the board... just, really? Bungie's messed up several times this year already, and we're barely two months in.
This game going free-to-play was arguably one of the worst things that's happened to it. There are no meaningful content updates that don't revolve around the Eververse, and it looks like more players are starting to see that. Not that the content was inherently good before they made that switch, but at its worst it was empty content. Now the majority of what we get is empty content that is driven by cosmetics.

4 RepliesIt's that bad I've gone back to fallout 76. And that's saying something.

1 ReplyTry Monster Hunter World, its actually rewarding lol
-
Division 2 was three bucks for a while

It must be springtime then, the long winters over, And other games start looking better. But when the kids go back to school, And that chill September wind blows, Bungie will have a new DLC . . . . . . with a $60 price tag.

1 ReplyDestiny is the only pve game I enjoy for gunplay itself bungie is so inconsistent for pvp I play halo for pvp instead were guns dont change every 3 months and fallout for a actual good story
-
5 RepliesI picked up division 2 for cheap. Definitely worth your time and if you want to match make the option is there before every mission. I'm really enjoying it and getting a loot fix.

Playing Apex Legends currently. I won't even touch ToO...

Destiny 2 makes Destiny 1 look even better

6 RepliesNo other games are “looking good” and all the D2 killers failed pathetically... You guys will never leave. You’ll just cry on the forums...
-
I've been revisiting the Witcher 3 pretty extensively lately. But that's alright, one game shouldn't dominate every available gaming opportunity for years on end.
-
I mean.....if u haven't been playing other games already you been messing up. Who the hell plays just destiny 2? Hell I touch it once a month (maybe). I'm sure bungie wants you guys taking a break also.
-
6 RepliesGone back to BFV 😁
-
Other games have always looked good. If you never take a break and step away from Destiny, you’re missing out. What’s with people who think this game is supposed to provide them with 24/7 365 days worth of content? Crazy.
-
destiny has been more of a disappointment than me
-
1 ReplyBeen playing FFXIV for a while now. I'd rather pump money into a game that actually progressively gets better over time than worse...
-
4 RepliesWhat is wrong with y'all? There is nothing wrong with wanting to play other games over destiny and come back when you see something you like. You don't have to play destiny day in and day out to say it's a good game. Go do another game or two and come back. Or, if it's not your game anymore take care. You have feedback? Leave and call it good. How is this hard?
-
I think that’s called taking a break.
-
ESO and Skyrim GOTY in tandum dropping into D2 now and then
-
cyberpunk multiplayer will kill destiny

1 ReplyYou're not going to make them jealous. Play other games & stfu.

14 RepliesBeen playing Red Dead 2 and Witcher 3 lately. There is more story telling in a Witcher 3 side quest than the whole of Destiny 2. Been playing Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn and Bloodborne too. Plenty out there that's worth spending time on. God of War is an absolute classic. I have accepted that this game will never be anything close to what it could be. The story is a mess with storyline's just abandoned , the activities are boring and repetitive and we get an Eveverse refresh every three months so we all now where Bungie's focus is. All these nerf's and now a new Nightfall level literally no one asked for. No new Gambit maps in over 500 days and since Forsaken we have had one new strike, one. This game is something I switch on for an hour of patrol, get bored, and go play something rewarding. Bungie are no longer worth supporting in my view and a company I genuinely dislike. I am just sticking around here to watch the game circle the drain.

3 RepliesEdited by yafeelme: 2/23/2020 9:21:02 AMBeen playing ESO for a month now and it's been a blast. The game has it's share of faults as well. Just recently they nerfed multiple sets because similar sets are releasing with the new expansion so in order for those sets to have a place, they had to nerf the others. Im not angry at this. I just say it because I say it all the damn time. If you dont want gear you worked for to be nerfed, go play a different genre, not just a different game. Loot games, and all loot games do this. Stop pretending bungie is trying to pull the rug our from under you. Also, I won't even go into all the real money you can spend in the cash shop and get ahead with. But it doesn't change the fact the game is still really fun. Despite having similar issues as many other loot games, it still has me enjoying my time. If you can imagine that.

I bought Spider-Man quite a while back I’ve been playing it and absolutely loving it atm .
