Make all Eververse Items be dismantled into bright dust. Even ships and sparrows upon opening a bright engram

Something like this. If you don't like what you got in the bright engram you have like 2 min to dismantle for bright dust. If you're late it can be legendary shards. Idk something like that. Bright dust is so hard to gather. Please do something about it.

  • this will never happen. they will be loosing revenue. they are a company first, and need money to keep the doors open. now that they split with their sugar daddy, this is a necessary evil. either buy stuff or don't, its your choice.

    • id say bungie should increase weekly bounties from 200 bright dust to 500 and the repeatable from 10 to 50 or something like that

      • When will people understand that this is not an accident or oversight, but a deliberate strategy to get you to go balls deep into micro-transacting.

        • You can get 3600 dust by completing all the weekly bounties for three vendors. The problem is the limited types of things that are available for purchase. On top of that, the eververse engrams we get from leveling almost always give you shaders and emotes/sparrows/shells. I’ve gone through maybe 50 or whatever (I’m +25) and haven’t got anything I would call awesome except maybe one emote. The amount of things behind that pay wall is high and it’s pretty greedy.

          • I think Eververse shouldn’t have all the stuff it has in the first place. We should be able to earn ornaments from gameplay with specific challenges and such. Really bothers me how much they pack into Tess.

They got rid of bright dust coming from EV items because it has a real money value. And having an in-game currency with real money value available only from eververse, that made purchasing real money eververse engrams a form of gambling, which as we know is illegal in Washington and would require heavy federal oversight (and the real deal-killer: transparency) to operate.

              • Never gonna happen (again) the less bright dust we have, the more people have to spend money on silver, to get everything from eververse.... it’s a cheap tactic to get more and more money from microtransactions.

              • They used to do this but they took it away because they didn't want us to have bright dust, meaning people will be more likley to spend money in the game. Bungie are trash when it comes to MTX. They've done nothing but lie about it and break their own promises to tone it down, all the while reaching round to your pocket for yet more $$$. They are like a junior EA.

              • I used to earn everything I wanted via gameplay and dismantling shaders and such for bright dust. That was probably my last straw now that I think about it.

              • Wont happen. When this was a thing players would build up 50k, 60k, even 100k dust. WHICH UTTERLY WRECKS THEIR EV MODEL!!!!!! Most of the older accounts if they are still active still have enough dust to buy every thing EV has to offer till the end of the game.

              • Bungie let us control ever aspect of this game pls. But you can develop it. And when you -blam!- up what we want, were gonna rage about it. All day. It's gonna be great.

                • That’s was the way it used to be. Some of us got over 100k in bright dust so Bungie did what they always do Nerf sh!t into the ground. So they’re not going to do this because it will cost them thousands in revenue. This is one battle you’re not going to win.

                    • When they first said that Eververse items would no longer dismantle into dust and would instead be an earnable currency, I thought "Cool, as long as the amounts are reasonable". They were not. Comparatively eff all. Since then it has felt really bad to delete all the Y1 crap I already got a hundred times in 2017 and get a few measly shards from it. Yes, there are 'unlimited' daily bounties, but at 3000 glimmer a pop for a pitiful 10 dust, the ratio for what you earn from time spent is unviable to even the most hardcore, efficient players. Either revert the change, or bump all the current bounties up by some insane multiplier. I'd prefer the former.

We had this pre-shadowkeep. Bungo decided that we got overloaded with BD, so as usual... Bungo NERF that too🤣🤣

                        • It used to to that lol. In Y1 everything Eververse related broke down into bright dust and you had a once-a-week chance to earn from a select group of Eververse items via Prismatic Matrix. If you didn't like anything that week then you could save it for next week because you could up to 3 at a time. You also got brightgrams once every level up and had XP boosters for your first 3 levels that week. In Y2 they ditched the matrix but allowed you to earn bright dust from doing Eververse bounties. I believe things still broken down into bright dust for a short bit of time too, allowing players to get lots of bright dust. Now in Y3 they removed the bright dust bounties, everything breaks into shards/glimmer and not BD, prices are way more absorbent, tower vendors give out pitiful amounts after you've burnt through the weeklies, brightgrams are now every 5 levels and the boost only works for 5 levels (meaning one chance at a quick engram a week without grinding your ass off). All this extra work for little profit, to such a point that BD might as well not exist anymore.

                        • I miss bright engrams being season items that mattered even when you got dupes. Ever-verse is awful and built for free to play new players.
