It’s not like it’s suppose to be a power fantasy isn’t it ? Sniper do require skill for headshots, shotgun are supposed to do a lot of damage on close range that’s what they been created for. You can pretty much out range them anytime and bait them for the kill too. Shotgun kill are pretty much like melee kills. If y’a dumb enough to get punch twice without hitting back, you deserve to be killed. You people would cry for everything and it’s pathetic. Next Season you’re all gonna cry for Suros to be nerfed and then Devils ruins and I don’t know let’s say ... Bastion ? ... or whatever new thing is coming up. Would you rather have people running around with a knife killing everyone in one shot even if they don’t hit you ? Oh that’s right, that may be happening soon with the new sword upcoming change. (CoD reference in case it wasn’t obvious enough but still laughable)

When you see them rushing, shoot the CHRIST out of them and make them believe in the lord of light. It’s better to stand your ground sometimes. “Jutton” (I really just can’t with this one it’s so funny): Pay attention to who’s killing you. Figure out which slimy -blam!- has the divine toaster. You see their name? Hide. You see the bright light? Jump and make yourself hard to hit. Run around. The tracking on Jötunn isn’t all that great and gets beat out easily. Pre charging on jötunn is a dirty tactic but this is avoided by the same tactic I’ll describe for avoiding sniper fire. Fusion rifles: if you’re consistently getting killed by these, it’s one of two reasons. You stand still with no variation when you run at your enemies. Or you. Keep. Rushing. In. Stop doing that people, unless your build is completely mobility and rush based and you have the resilience to boot, you should absolutely not be using this tactic as a regular method of getting kills. Snipers: if you were in a war zone, would you be walking out in the open looking for enemies to kill? No. You’d be taking cover as much as possible, because as with the French in WW1, when they marched through the hills with their bright ass uniforms completely uncovered, the German snipers picked them off by the dozen. Watch the lanes. Pay attention when you play. Figure out the spots snipers like to pick. Don’t just blindly rush through doors out in the open. Peek the lane for a split second. Supers: You hear it, if you’re not a sniping god, and there aren’t other players around you, run. You probably won’t kill them. If there ARE other players around you, throw a nade if you got one, blast them with whatever special you have (you probably won’t get off a second shot without it costing your life) keep the distance, and pull out your primary to finish them off. Finally, one more tip. Pay attention to the maps. Be aware of your surroundings. Learn what spots the fighting is thickest. Learn what spots you can safely run through. Good luck avoiding all those dang juttons out there.

So? If good guns scare you and you can't handle OHK weapons, why are you playing Destiny??? That's one of the big things that makes this game great and unique. You want Halo, go play Halo for PvP. The Crucible should never be taken seriously for competition and should just be enjoyed for what it is.

I am not a pvp guy. I actually only go in there when chasing a ritual weapon so take my words how you will. Seems to me there are two types of players when it comes to crucible. The guys that get put down and take everything that happened and reflect what they should have done different, rethinking their approach for the next time around. Sometimes (dare I say this) they even make changes to their loadout to better counter what is happening around them. Then you have the guys on the other end of the spectrum. They think that in no way could it be their own fault for the events that led up to their own death. These are the guys that rage out with the laundry lists of guns that need to be nerfed or the excuses. Death happens Guardian, really not a big deal. Gun play here is fantastic and unrivaled IMHO
