I left d2 after black armoury and only came back little over a month ago, grinded our over 20 god rolls and most of the pinnacles/rituals and caught up on a lot of stuff and I’m already more or less finished. It felt way to easy to collect everything to me. In d1 I spent hundreds of hours going for that perfect imago loop and while I would have preferred getting it, having a carrot on a stick at all times helped fill those gaps where I was pretty finished with the game. D2 doesn’t really have that since weapons are so easily obtained and I’d say that’s an issue.
