I've started playing Division 2 and will see how Destiny 2 goes after the next update and make my mind up on which one to continue with. Destiny has just become a grinding bore fest. I know the Division is the same but it's fresh for me so I have lots to do.

  • You'll get bored of Division 2 just like you are bored/burned out from Destiny. Maybe play an entirely different genre of games. Leave shooters for a bit and try something else? The Division is suffering from the same stuff that Destiny is suffering from. Players exhaust everything to do, content doesn't come out fast enough to many, and people leave the game and get burnt out. The Division just dropped a new expansion, but that will only serve to hold people's interest for another month at best. Division 2 is in way worse shape than Destiny 2.

  • The DZ's are f-ed up... but that is to be expected I guess. The LZ is pretty good at tier 5 though. Was pretty easy to solo all the way to GS500... nice to have a game that you can just level steadily while having fun. Granted, some of the daily/weekly projects can get a bit monotonous... but the invaded areas and ramping up the control points to level 3 or 4 can be a lot of fun. Playing in the sewers can lead to some fun fights too... nowhere near the level of Underground though. That is probably my biggest gripe about TD2... was hoping they would have brought forward some things more comparable to TD1's extra game modes.

  • Division 2 is an absolutely terrible game. If you think Destiny was a boring grind fest. lol

  • Division 2 have real open world. Division 2 have one line story, which developed during year (and TD1). Division 2 have REAL builds, not stupid Armor 2.0. And my personal favorite Division 2 have no STUPID bounties like kill some (a lot) enemies with Rocket Laucher/Liner Fusion Rifle/Sniper rifle and etc etc weapons you don't like, skill trees you don't like. Division 2 just let you play like you want to. Destiny will force you to play like Bungie want to. It's a huge difference. And their new expansion looks like Forsaken vibe expansion. So I'll better play it, then next season of Destiny.

  • Division 2 was garbage from the start. My opinion of course.

  • Same as Destiny 2. But we all here right now for some reasons after three years hoping Bungie could make Destiny at least fine game.=)

  • True, when Destiny 2 released, it was a flop. I didn’t pick it back up until about a month ago and have enjoyed catching up. Still plenty to do. Division 2 on the other hand, I preordered it, played for a month, and quit. Fast forward, it’s still the exact same as it was when it released. lol I’m sure I’ll burn out on Destiny 2 again eventually and then I’ll move on until something else gets released.

  • I bought TD2 on release. And played about 60 hours. It was a great time. The only subjective thing about the game is setting. Not everyone like real world thing in loot shoot games. But i'm a real world guns fan. So for me all Destiny weapons are NERF toys at best. So I enjoyed Division loot pool a lot. Now I returned. Already 100 hours. When you start to use game RPG elements it became the great ARPG with shooting gameplay. Something Destiny 2 can't give you. And I'm sure Division 2 have best open world in online shooting games. Well, it's the only game of this type with real open world. So I still think Division are better game, then Destiny. But of corse it's not perfect at all.

  • Nothing wrong with that. The real-world environment is what drew me to Division 2. In the end, I guess I just like space magic and aliens more. lol

  • Hence why I bought (apart from being dirt cheap) the base game and preorderd Warlords DLC.

  • My youngest son just bought Div 2 for $3. Seems like a good buy. I might check it out.

  • I paid £2.50 for it and, according to rumours, this next Warlords update it's getting is what Taken king update did for Destiny 1. We'll see.

  • Its a great game. Worth the money just to explore the city. I bought it on release, and really enjoyed it. It didnt keep me hooked enough to be my main game, but i enjoyed it enough to go back to it from time to time, just to have fun playing and exploring. Its that kind of game. If you really enjoy being immersed in highly detailed game worlds, you cant go wrong with div 2.
