EMPYREAN DONATION it’s too slow.
How are we supposed to turn in over 700,000 polarized fractaline this week that’s in our inventory, The button is too slow to turn in only 100 can you give us options.
Example
100
400
All at once.
And no timer on the button for donation.
I have all the weapons I want and I don’t need XP or materials.

10 RepliesI don’t really know why everybody is in such a rush to donate as much as they can as quickly as possible to be honest. It’s not like the community reaching the threshold isn’t a foregone conclusion. The community as a whole could donate only 10 fractaline altogether by the end of the event and it would still autocomplete. You don’t really believe the thresholds met that bungie tell us do you? I quite enjoy the process on Tuesdays of comm moist home from work, bumping up my resonance level as much as I can then taking a half hour or so buying the bounties, donating to complete them hunting for godrolls. Iya relaxing to me. Not saying everybody should enjoy that as I do, I’m Just saying, why does it matter how fast you can donate? Like I said, it doesn’t mean anything.

18 RepliesI am done with this Fractiline bs. I deleted the stacks in my inventory. Trials (or whatever) is coming back regardless of what we do. I am curious to find out what happens if the 7th tier isn't reached.

Nice. 700,000 is a lot of Fractiline. I only get 13k a week. They need a 400 option and a 1,000 option., but I’m fine with the way it is since it’s going to be gone soon.

Either 4 seconds for 400 or just instantly like we can do for the fractaline at the planet obelisks. Shouldn't take much time or effort to change some numbers, even for people working under Luke Smith.

1 ReplyAh ha! Score one for the minimalist. I had leveled all my obelisks to level 10 just before this Empyrean Foundation thing started. And that's all I cared to do. So guess how many I have to go through each week? I don't actually remember the exact number. But it's something like 4800 I get back. And yeah, I could have put that into the obelisks to get a better return, but nah. Then I'd feel obligated to donate as much as I could and I sure as hell don't want to spend that much time in the tower lol it takes long enough just to fly to it these days! I'm just happy I got a Traveler's Judgement with ricochet rounds, rapid hit, and firefly with a range masterwork. It's my new favorite toy to run around with. Max stability, and great range. You can't ask for any better!

7 RepliesWithout doing bounties I will be donating for almost 1 hour... if I press and hold x perfectly every 4 seconds for almost 1 hour? I already have the weapons I want so where the incentive to waste an hour for literally nothing? Donating past 5000 does nothing, the obelisk or lighthouse will be repaired no matter how much is donated. It's all for a number on an emblem no one will wear in 3 weeks.

Literally so many things are a hold down that should just be a click. Fractaline at any obelisk should be a click. also shaders at Banshee, why holding down is a thing, you are literally there to trade shaders. So it would be no accident unlike potentially in inventory. Also, why does this game even limit the purchase or shard amount. How come I played games in the early 90s that let me select single or 10's of a unit and do one click for the transaction. But here we are holding down buttons for individual transactions... or like most people, have a macro running while they do something else that is interesting.

There is a single value that needs to be adjusted - that's it. Any one of the 50 or so code nerds know exactly which line it is too. "iF iTs So eAsY y DoNt tHeY dO iT" Because of the obvious reasons already mentioned, but also more likely that instead of having the donate button have it's own code like it should, it is probably classified as a "legendary consumable" with no other unique identifiers - so it has the default 4-second timer as all the other items and Bungie [i]chooses[/i] not to separate the items for further sorting. The point is, Bungie 100% can reduce the timer without any client side downtime, but they are 100% too lazy. Not a discussion, simply an observation of fact.

It is slow but it’s a once a week thing so I’d much prefer them to spend time fixing things that need it for better quality of life. Like the 6 minute load time to the tower. In a couple of weeks the donations won’t be part of the game.
