Edited by MONKEYGOTRABIES: 2/19/2020 3:18:09 PMSince this game appears to fully encompass your entire life, what's it like to see 0000000000000000010000000000000000000010000000100000000000100 when you talk about it? It's like binary code for UUUUUUUUUUUUGHHHPLZZSTFU

You put too much faith in Bungie’s narrative team, especially over a few seconds of dialogue. The expansion will likely be more cut and dry, neatly tied “story” where the stakes are nonexistent and the narrative inches forward as Bungie continues to draw this out at a snail’s pace just to keep players coming back. Of course I hope it turns into something more and we’re actually pleasantly surprised but when has that happened lately. This is the Bungie post Activision, using fewer resources and more dependency on hype. Your enthusiasm is at the very least a refreshing change from the rest of the forums. Glad someone’s enjoying it.

3 RepliesNo, it's not. Shady monologue to bring up the hype for next season. But It will be same lost potential, as Drifter/Vanguard quest, Uldren cutscene or Eris cutscene. And it's have zero sense right now. How Osiris sneaked throught Ana? Why Rasputin? Why there are no clues or single line of text to give us know "Osiris discovered, that Warmind activeted again. And he pissed off by it". No? Nothing? It's same useless funservice shit as everything Bungie do with their story.

It's cool, but probably just another loose end :(
-
2 RepliesYour high
-
16 Replieslets be real, it was a cool scene but we all know this is is going nowhere, just like when uldren got revided as a guardian like a year ago and nothing ever happened
-
Just another cutscene where years from now we're gonna be asking ourselves "sooooooo whatever happened with that one thing they made a cutscene about?" Just like every single cutscene they've ever done.

10 RepliesEdited by WulfPak666: 2/19/2020 3:38:15 AMA grouchy old man yelling at a computer with his gun. I wasn't aware Bungie knew my uncle 🤔
-
6 RepliesIt was ok as I wasn't expecting it. Not bad... It bothers me that Osiris keeps changing age at will - he looks like quite an old man at the end of CoO with white eyebrows, now he is middle-aged again?
-
2 RepliesItll be resolved over the course of a few weeks via some menagerie knockoff mode, centered around bounties and collecting some obscure material. Spoilers.

Edited by Ardour: 2/20/2020 7:59:03 AMWas he threatning Rasputin with scout rifle? xD Stupid chicken. This writing is so bad...

1 ReplyThought it was strange that an ancient scholar with 1000000IQ called rasputin an “Old Man” and a “Thug”
-
24 RepliesI thought it was cool as well, but then I realized its just going to be another loose plot thread.
-
It was more effort than the opening for this season which was literally just trailer footage. I'll give them that but other than that I'm not too impressed. Not expecting anything from it either.

Edited by GalaxySpider: 2/20/2020 8:12:37 AMHow was it "great"? In Destiny 2 alone, Rasputin, since we know him fromWarmind, had nothing to do with the Vex or Osiris. Now suddenly, out of nowhere, Osiris goes to Mars, doesn't tell Anna anything, enters a sealed chamber (still watched over by Anna I guess...) and talks in a way as if he wanted to blow him up right now. The only thing this video tells me is obviously: - the next season will be on Mars - since it seems to be a Trials/PvP oriented season the PvE crowd will just get rehashed Escalation Protocol stuff since most seasons just bring ONE new activity - more boring Red Legion Cabal stories

29 RepliesThere is Kelly again sprinkling the positive glitter over the game. You have more positivity oozing out of your this posts than DMG and COzmo put together all year. Whatever meds you are on it’s definitely working.

1 ReplyEdited by Uncle Fester: 2/20/2020 12:44:14 AMOf all the NPC in game, Osiris, is not even close to my favorite. He has done nothing that is outstanding, he has just been caught in the infinite forest for like 30 years and could not locate Saint 14, something I did in just minutes. He is actually very lame in my book. So, NO, I do not love Osiris. He is just kind of Bla. But the cut scene was well done.

1 ReplyR u kidding rite?
-
29 RepliesThe idea was great, the execution, or in this case the writing is horrible . 1.) The 'Tatanka' costume of Osiris is stil laughable 2. ) tha way he addresses the AI 'Rasputin‘ is that of a savage and not that of a scholar . He acts stupid 3. )His posture is cowardly as if he doesnt know what rasputin is 4.) his lines are overdramatic trashtalk The whole scene does the figure 'Osiris' more harm than good

Im docking Osiris points for bringing in a basic-ass scout rifle. Get some damage perks in there, noi.
-
Was definitely a cool cutscene, but I think I have Osiris PTSD because Curse of Osiris was so terribad.
-
Yeah it was awesome
-
6 RepliesOsiris: My expansion was better! Rasputin: Lmao Curse of Osiris was ass my expansion was better. Osiris: What?! *Destiny 2: Civil War*

How can you not love Osiris?!? The man is one part total bad ass, and one part bat-shit crazy!!
No one seems to like you. You could make a thread about beer being a good drink and it would get down voted. Do they hate on you because you are a girl?

1 ReplyIt gave me shivers, felt the same way when I do the mercury strike and he says "I'll write a detailed apology later"
