So I was playing some nightmare hunts and suddenly my game stopped and an xbox error screen popped up saying "unable to read game content" or something along those lines. I quit out the game and relaunch to be met with the install screen and a blisteringly slow verification bar. At about 35% the xbox message popped up again and my game froze. I've hard reset my console now and am sitting through the install thing again. I dont really know what else to do beside completely uninstall and reinstall which could take all night to do.
Edit: Attempt 2 reached 35% again and popped up the error message

5 RepliesHi. Thanks for your report. You may want to verify the integrity of your game files in the Steam app to see if that helps with your issue. Some players have reported that changing the game language may resolve the issue. If that doesn't help, in your Games library, right-click Destiny 2 and go to Properties. Click Local Files then Browse Local Files to open your Destiny 2 directory. Remove all files in this folder EXCEPT "Packages." Then verify the integrity of Destiny 2 game files again.
