You're either new to the game, took a long break or looking for a scapegoat weapon? Hammerhead is a popular choice because of ease of access, it's not best in class by any means either. LMG's already took a hit in terms of damage output & ammo economy, go get one yourself or use Truth or wardcliff, plenty of options out there.
