Add something to make it worthwhile me. Even bring back exotic if no time to design a new weapon. No land beyond. Vexmythoclast. Just give us anything to go after.
Lot of post on this issue. I just really think Bungie would want to give us something, anything to chase. Even if its old gear. At this point I think most people would be happy with about anything. Give a small chance for ascendant materials. That shouldn’t take that much effort. Just some ideas. I am certain people here have many good ideas that should be too hard to implement.

Edited by Haunter: 2/18/2020 5:51:33 PMThanks for the suggestion, have some more reskinned banner armor from Y1 and a stupid quest you need to do first, thanks for the $!!! -Bungie

I like to see the clever dragon again

IB has t been the same since D1. Token system sux. Quests are a time sink Bounties are a time sink No other Engame rewards besides the bounties and the occasional mod drop. But like me I’ve got them all so now what? It would be nice to throw some prisms and Ascendant Shards in the reward system. And put the reward drops back to the end of the matches. Oh and remove the lockout mechanic. As a matter of fact start rotating the gametypes again IB is stale AF like it is.

I would honestly love to see all previous iron banner weapons thrown back into the loot pool with random rolls. There are several good weapons that are currently retired that would be fun to use in an updated form.

2 RepliesThey wanted to introduce a bow of all things in this season's IB... Couldn't even do that let alone fix it for this season... Think that sums it up for Bungie.
-
Bungies lack of care for destiny 2. They are busy with their new game and are leaving destiny to rot
-
1 ReplyIt’s not hard, bungie is just lazy and knows people will play with or without a new reward to chase after.
-
To much effort and time for them to get out of bed for
-
They don't have to since people keep playing. If enough quit playing maybe it will open their eyes....but I doubt it.
-
How about ornaments for last seasons iron banner gear like they use to?
-
1 ReplyI like ya name! And to answer ur question, if you’re a sucker like me they already have your season pass money so now don’t care about the content they are 💩ing out these days!
-
8 RepliesBecause a majority of Bungies team is off making another game for the Asian company that gave them all that cash last year and Destiny 2 is on the back burner. That's why this game has turned into such a shit show now. I literally log in to grind a few obelisk weapons, and log out. 0 to do for me now.
-
Because they havent added new weapons in game in so long they forgot how.

Because IB doesn’t cost silver Bungie doesn’t make Destiny anymore, they work hard on a game called “Eververse” -

Always remember. Making content is hard. Unless it’s endless trash emotes, ghost projections, transmat effects, sparrows and ships for Eververse. -
4 RepliesI think they are bringing a bow......... but that's kinda a whoopity doo kinda weapon

Wonder is bungie ever ask themselves “hmmm why is the iron banner player numbers so low” Maybe because there isn’t a single new weapon and the armour set has returned for the third time? Iron banner is fun, but you can only play so much for fun. Then you want something to chase. If I do anything in a looter shooter I kind of expect loot.
-
Agreed. Crimson days with no new reward. No new weapons for iron banner. Seems like there’s plenty to do with nothing in return.
-
It's slow to develop anything using this game engine, but they probably keep on using it for D3.
-
Because they will add them like Gamefreak. When they have content to sell
-
I think that it’s well beyond apparent that Bungie is no longer interested in investing into D2 in order to draw future income (i.e. prompt bug fixes unless it’s game breaking, reworking tedious broken systems, etc). Along with that is community relations. Anything new along the lines of gear is most likely going to be things that they’ve had sitting on the shelf for months/years OR some half-assed, uninteresting weapon. The game is not dead by any means, but it’s my guess that, much like a tree that dies from the inside out, it’s glory days are over. The game is long passed its peak as far as Bungie is concerned. It’s also my guess that Activision saw that Bungie’s vision for D2 was NOT something worth investing into any further.

5 RepliesEdited by More Power: 2/17/2020 7:18:41 PMJust a hunch... A prognostication, if you will... Everything you want from D1 (guns, armor, maps, destinations, literally everything) and haven't seen yet in D2 will be brought back for D3, including SRL. This means a lot of the good stuff is purposely being held back to make D3 all the more compelling. A bit of a stretch... but, I also think Bungie's next game (after 10 years of Destiny) will appear on dedicated servers and will only be available on PC. I don't think Bungie will ever get over MS.

An Exotic D1 sword get x amount solar Kills for Razelighter Void kills for Dark Drinker & Arc kills for Boltcaster Sword kills grant more progress

Seriously they could have brought so many D1 iron banner weapons back and everyone would be happy. This no new weapons is a joke. The whole point of iron banner was the god rolled weapons and armor. No new weapons for more than a whole year? Zero reason to play iron banner.
