And watch how much more people will be willing to buy silver.

3 RepliesEdited by Smough: 2/19/2020 4:32:51 PMThe thing is, even though a lot more people may buy microtransactions due to reduced prices, and everybody will have less of a problem with eververse, that probably isn’t going to make more money than those who buy everything in its overpriced state. Let’s say 4 people buy the armor ornaments at its current price of $12. Bungie would make $48 from those people. Now let’s say bungie reduces the price of the ornaments to a much more reasonable $4, which in my opinion is still a bit much for only a single armor set, but still much better than $12. Okay now let’s say that 10 players, seeing the price drop, decide to buy the ornament. That’s a 250% increase of players purchasing that armor, however that will only make bungie $40, which is of course less than how much bungie made from the 4 players. Of course you can change these numbers, such as a number probably closer to reality such as 40,000 players buying the $12 ornament vs 100,400 players buying the $4 ornament, but the results are still the same (480k vs 401.6k respectively). Of course we don’t actually know how many players buy eververse items now, or how many would buy if the prices were reduced. However I’m fairly certain that bungie wouldn’t make much more of a profit, or would make less profit, from lowering eververse prices, and they probably know this. “It’s easy math, guardian.”

They need to reduce and change reverse back to how it was 4 dlcs ago. When we before they throttled of bright engrams. And gave us gear from launch. Instead of giving us the retired gear from the previous month or months. Leveling up to get eververse engrams is a joke now a days. All you get is junk. And 1 engrams every 8 hrs of play. Its bananas. Put the emotes and sparrows back. I say. And some finishers and emblems

8 RepliesThis is the bargaining stage. Hopefully you move on soon and realize how sad Eververse is. Supporting it makes you a turd. Playing the game is a middle finger to your fellow gamer with a mental problem becoming a whale. Playing Destiny is your vote that Eververse is ok. You don't need to buy anything. Buying anything is even worse. Games 5 years ago gave away the entire store and then some. For free. You are being subjected to one of the worst gaming experiences of 8th Gen and Bungie has conditioned you to like the game anyways. It's called a skinner box. Wake up you drones.

But how will they be greedy, pieces of sugar daddyless shits then?

They will say no.......not like I will bother it.
-
That would be amazing if they did that but l don't think they would ever reduce the cost of them being the company they are Need more Bright Dust bounties and not just the few that award you 200 or 10 per completion not going to buy anything from those at all
-
1 ReplyNO. Raise the price so that people will stop throwing their money away on useless crap. If Bungie wants our money they should make content, not ornaments.
-
Watch it there man, asking Bungie to lower their prices is like asking to be killed by money hungry bears
-
2 RepliesI didn't realize so many broke people play this game
-
4 RepliesOr at least give us a sale on select items every week. We are more tempted to buy knowing we are getting it cheaper. It’s sales 101.
-
Bungie: But but but... Money... Community: it pays for content, employees gotta eat and support the family. I would suggest a sale day once a month on everything from that month. And discount tokens from grinding the game, Like how the hall tokens work..
-
they should also have weekly sales, especially toward the end of the season, and do bundles like this armor orniment + ghost projection + 250 bright dust for 500 silver.
-
Hahahahaha!!!! OP, im sorry to laugh at you. But Bungie is only after how much they can strip out of your pocket right now. Being nice and lowering prices on the idea of maybe getting players to buy more isn't something they'll do. Im sure the white knights will come out to defend "poor, poor Bungie who must feed their starving workers".
-
I still wouldnt buy
-
Nope. Reduce the prices. I AM NOT BUYING SILVER.
-
1 ReplyI don't think they'll reduce it. They should increase the bright dust gains we get from bounties.
-
1 ReplyHow about this idea. If you buy the season pass the eververse store is 50% off for the season

7 RepliesEdited by deadly-cause: 2/17/2020 6:12:13 PMAgreed, very expensive for both silver and bright dust. Both need to be reduced. The cowbell emote was 1200 silver, in Australia that’s $15AUD. $15 for an emote 😂. Bungie act like going free to play is going to cripple them when it actually won’t. Everyone is still buying forsaken and shadowkeep. The difference now is that all the money they make from DLCs isn’t shared with activision, bungie get every cent so they’re actually making more money then they did with activision. All it is is greed. Nothing more.
-
either that or buff the amount of bright dust you get from bounties. even if they went back to the old system of dismantling level up engrams for bright dust, considering everything is overpriced, heck even if exotic sparrows, ships if you dismantled for 250 instead of 500 would still be good
-
“No” -Luke “Moneybags” Smith, probably

6 RepliesI want them to double the prices. Anyone who supports microtransactions deserve it. If you have $15 US to spend on an emote that should just be part of the game, then surely you can pay $30. What’s the difference? It all lines the pockets of executives anyway... or do you people still think that billions of dollars per year all get invested back in the game 🙄
-
Half price would be nice cus I'd have double the silver, I'd also like to be able to buy the stuff I want... Like the Lucky pants ornaments called deep pockets I missed it in year 1.
