Ok, I got it.
It turned out that Destiny somehow stopped using GTX 1050 GPU and started using the integrated graphics card. I had to manually specify that destiny should use the GPU.
Settings > System > Display > Graphics Settings > Browse > choose D2 from steam folder > Options > High performance
If you are not sure that D2 is using GPU you can check in task manager while D2 is running (in GPU Engine column).
