Bungie has stated they'll never be sold for bright dust. Which against my better judgment I understand buuuut they do need to bring the prices down on several things or make Silver purchases more friendly I shouldn't have to spend 10 bucks to get a ship or sparrow or ghost.
-
1 ReplyIt’s fairly obvious finishers were added to the game for one reason: monetization.
-
Nope. The nerf to PVE damage at the start of shadowkeep was done so they could make money off of finishers. Just another gimmick. Emotes 2.0 as someone else has said.
-
17 RepliesHow about having characters in the game teach us finishers? Imagine doing a quest where Lord Shaxx teaches us his finisher.
-
2 RepliesShort answer: NO. Long answer: STILL NO.
-
1 ReplyIt would be nice... but my Titan alternates between headbutt of death, jumping punch, and Jean Claude spinning face kick. It's a nice mix.

Nope you know why because FVCK YOU GIVE ME MONEY!!! sincerely bungie.
-
My guess is not until September, when Y3 finishers might be sold for bright dust/available in bright engrams. But don't hold your breath over it.
-
Hahaha no. That wont Bungie money. They're not a charity or friendly anymore. Its all about that money now. Why do you think we get those eververse popups before even starting the game to remind us to buy their shit. Like I was playing another game and got a eververse popup on it. Freaking bungie virus.
-
It'll cost like 5,000+ bright dust. At that point, you'd still have a problem.
-
I hope so.
-
all these eververse items that we cant get will most likely be in a seasonal engram later down the road when bungie has used up all the past stuff we player's already have
-
I don't think Bungie will let you buy emotes 2.0 with bright dust.
-
1 ReplyOf course not! Luke "Throw your Silver at My Screen" Smith NEEDS all the Silver he can get.. Otherwise we won't get the "Massive Quantity and Superb Quality" of Content we pay for each Season.
-
15 RepliesNope. And even if they do, they will cost ridiculous amounts of bright dust that you probably couldn’t afford it. (I’d guess 5000/7500/10k are safe bet ranges)
-
Move this over to the other post titled “D2 is garbage”
-
No. Bungie doesn't like any ideas that are cool.
-
Youre telling me that big announcement of finishers, being the awesome feat leading the publicity of the whole thing, is a MONEY or gtfo thing?? 😧
-
2 RepliesIs bright dust ever going to be useful outside of Eververse? The store doesn't need two exclusive currencies especially when one currency is already a joke.
-
1 ReplyNot sure if anyone mentioned this, but they tweeted earlier in the season that finishers this season would all be silver only.
-
Guess they won't do that. It would lead to earn less money. Anyway you got a finisher no?.Why care how it looks like? Importent thing is that it does it work no? Luckily i do not care for all that ornaments, shaders etc. Best thing a weapon or piece of armor is doing is working well. Why the f...care for how it looks like.
-
This is the only thing that even slightly bothers me about EV. I'd spend some of my 60k Dust on Finishers. I'm not going to buy Silver for them. I'd rather they had their own quests. Imagine an Exotic type quest that rewarded you with a specific Finisher. Or something like the class melee ability Triumphs. Still, I understand why Bungie would want to keep at least a few things Silver only and I'm not gonna get butthurt about it.
-
16 RepliesI don't think we should get it for dust. Reasons being is that Bungie needs to make money somehow and most eververse stuff is for bright dust e.g ghots and ornaments especially when it became F2P. I personally don't mind it being purchasable with dust but it most likely wont be.
-
I've prob done less then 50 finishers in total over 3 chars since they were introduced.. in my opinion they after absolutely nothing. No offence tho
-
Please
They need to be removed from the game.
