I have "Tex Mechanica Tournament" Holliday Family History. It just says "Rest your Crucible Valor rank." and offers the Chaperone as a reward. I don't really play much crucible and am currently at 342 valor. A friend of mine has a quest for The Chaperone that goes more like this: Visit Amanda Holliday after receiving the 'Holliday Family History' quest from any activity Get 20 Shotgun Kills in Crucible Get Arc, Solar and Void Kills in Crucible Get 20 Guardian kills in Gambit Return to Amanda Holliday to receive The Chaperone I tried abandoning it, going to Amanda Holliday, looking for a "reset valor" option (which I don't have yet). I really don't want to grind up to 2000 and reset just to get the other version of the quest instead of the exotic if I don't have to. Thanks. EDIT: As mentioned below, resetting your crucible rank (once in character history) is indeed the first step. I think most of the guides don't mention it as the writers have long-since done so and get to "skip" that step. After resetting my crucible rank, the quest progressed as outlined in the online guides.
