Of all hate towards this game.
It is this most toxic unenjoyable dumpster fire I've ever had the misfortune of participating in.
Cheaters and bytch tactics make it the most obnoxious infuriating experience and I'm sure it's the reason many players leave this game permanently.
Winning isn't even rewarding it's more of a relief than anything else.
I absolutely hate that it's part of this game

Pc = Master Cheats.

If it didn't directly effect PvE it wouldn't bother me since I don't really play PvP anymore except for when a quest requires it.

Iron Banner tomorrow, bruh. Yes ! ! 🤗🍺🤓

That's obvious. if you're struggling to killing an acolyte you probably can't find your way to the forums anyway.

1 ReplyEdited by Peter, Kell of Cottontail: 2/17/2020 4:13:50 PMIt is the players.. not the sandbox. No match making, connections, or nerfs /balances will ever make a players obsessive behavior change. If you take away the looter part of this shooter, like at launch, the game also looses players. The issues are the players and their opinions: The players take it way too seriously, they go against logic, complain about what kills them, thinks there is this unwritten skill law, and usually have a one dimensional loadout. The mod business is a million dollar business for a reason and as of now, there is no combating it. It straight up gives players advantages. Then you have the overly obsessive people who will hit better opponents with packet losses and kick them from the game etc.. But we, as a species, will ALWAYS look for the advantage to better others. Ie weapon metas, cheating, etc... Some do it with real skill, others not so much. You are not going to win every fight, every game, and or ever going to be recognized in history about your time in a video game. Anyone popular now.. is just a fad. See the reality here? You like the game, cool.. if not, why are you playing?

Stick to pve

Edited by Khaliliuss: 2/18/2020 8:33:46 AMMay I in-cumbersome you with the minimalist option of perhaps not partaking in the above said activity? Perhaps, oh good sir, that would create an undermining foundation to your piece of mind. . . . If you don't like it, don't play it. Literally no rewards, no loot nada.... so if you don't "enjoy it", don't play it.

Things will change once trials returns......... Ppffthahahaha!! Holy hell...what am I sayin!!

Ironically enough since there aren't really any rewards in the Crucible, you'd think the player population wouldn't be so die-hard to win. Slapping valuable rewards behind the Crucible I think would just further inflate the toxicity of it.

Bad day, eh?

You can use whatever tactic you like 🤣🤣🤣

3 RepliesWhat cheaters are you encountering champ? Honest question. Honestly the empty claim of cheaters being rampant in the game (on console, which is what you’re playing on) is ludicrous. Please, go on, list ya some examples of the cheating you’ve encountered. I checked your stats, the virtually the same as mine so you’re not very good. Nobody is cheating in your/ our sbmm pool,if they were, they’d be doing better and wouldn’t be in our sbmm pool. Also, there’s no such thing as cheesy tactics. They’re either good tactics or bad tactics. It’s pvp. The aim of the game isnt to let the opposing team feel good about themselves and be edgelords for using off meta weapons and subclasses. The aim is to win. If you want to use off meta setups then more power to you. If you can make them work for you and do well using them against pure meta players then well done, you’re building a skill set. It if you can’t, that’s on you. With a mindset like that you’ll never improve and be stuck in the quagmire of blaming the game for being exactly what it is.

Edited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 2/17/2020 7:55:33 AMBeen maining a firmly backup planted elatha for the last 2 weeks. Been having the time of my life. Genuinely having more fun matches than not. I'd say OP's issue is also a matter of approach and perspective. Counting from shadowkeeps' launch I've seen around 10 cheaters in total. Give or take 3 or 5-ish in either direction. I play a lot of crucible. Cheating is an issue, but from my anecdotal experience it's not rampant.

It could be argued that PVE players do the most crying about pvp. Have u looked at it from that angle?
-
4 RepliesHaha wow stop getting your knickers in a twist ! D2 is a pvp and pve game full stop . You have a choice so chill out and stay away from pvp ....simples !
-
30 RepliesStop crying. Get over it.

Destiny 1 is superior

18 RepliesWhat's this?? A hunter saying they don't enjoy Crucible when they have more crutches than a Down's convention?? Something isn't right here.
-
9 RepliesPvE isnt very outstanding either lmao

1 Replydon't like it don't play it i don't play PvP in D2, tho i enjoy PvP in other games ( mostly PvP only games, which improve balance)

I think another problem are the maybe 80% of the players who use modded controllers and mouse/keyboard which is a huge advantage over the PS4 stock controller. And I think there is no fix for this. Maybe removing aim assist will help? Some time ago I played on a friend PS4 with mouse and it was an improvement. Easy to win 1v1. But I personally hate to use M/k on console . Even on my pc I use the PS4 controller and not the M/K. But I play games on pc once a year I think...

4 RepliesI thought SBMM was supposed to fix Crucible for everyone that isn't in the top 1%...
-
I'd say more like 40/60. There's a lot of PvE and general mechanics salt expressed here.

3 RepliesThe lack of solo queue in all but one mode : Freelance meaning you are statistically more likely to have a much harder, unfairer time against colluding groups significantly adds to the hate. Then there's the massive class imbalance where Hunters are significantly better equipped for PvP. Statistically better performing and so statistically ever more numerous. And also the endemic Shotgun-Handcannon meta obliterating all other options until it's the only loadout you'll see. Then there's no pinnacle rewards, no new vendor weapons and no higher materials at all. These four heavily contribute to PvP hatred.
