Blind well needs reward buff
fun casual activity badly in need of reward buff,
perhaps some of the weapons in activities that are being deleted.
players still show up, but more would do Blind Well if rewards were more motivating

5 RepliesBlind Well is one of the many repeatable activities Bungie should be pushing instead of driving all of its players to crucible. I would love to spend a good week getting 1000 grenade launcher multi kills in Well for a mountaintop than going for it in crucible.

So does Escalation Protocol. Personally I think Escalation Protocol wave 7 should rarely (5%? 7%) drop a consumable that allows you to change the affinity of a single armor piece at no cost, including exotics, regardless of energy level. Heroic Blind Well could drop a consumable that permanently increases the stats on an item by 2, just like masterworking, but stacking with a proper masterwork.

Every now then I still go there to kill enemies for bounties, but the place itself is beautiful. Like it would be awesome if there was a somewhat thriving community in the castle area. Filled with quest givers, venders etc. If there was also more dreaming city themed weapons. Guns of all archetypes both kinetic and energy and not locked behind the last wish raid or nightfalls.

I agree. A lot of the horde modes (Escalation Protocol, Moon Waves etc.) need to have a bigger loot pool.

More would play this game if there was rewards at all, nothings worth the grind anymore. They need to overhaul loot systems and add “Set Gear” like MMO’s have

Dang, make a blind well season where the Fanatic comes back to kill the vex and makes blind well better. Bungie, you've struck gold. Jokes aside, imagine circulating manegary (I forgot how to spell) loot with the new stuff and adding new subclasses that could be unlocked in blind well, refreshing core modes, etc

Exactly. Imo blind well is way cooler than escalation protocol but it has no rewards. I could be motivated to grind escalation protocol for the armor and weapons but there’s nothing like that in blind well. [spoiler]bunp[/spoiler]

If they increased the chance of getting high stat armor in this activity I would farm it more often.

2 RepliesI haven't seen a blind well going in quite some time. I went there throughout the week to complete the challenge and nobody was running it. I even sat there, made lunch and came back and nothing. I am shocked EP still has players running it, but the drop rates on the weapons are awful. I was in an 6 man EP last night for over two hours and the sniper didn't drop.

Not sure if people are just in the same boat as I am just doing bounties/ quests, but the activity is still very much alive (still kinda fun to run every once in a while too), and could use an update to loot for sure! I feel the same way about Managerie too. Fun activity that I actually like running, but not much (if any) incentive to actually do so for the loot.

6 RepliesI used to enjoy that activity until about a few hundred runs in and never got the roll I wanted on multiple weapons. It seems to be a theme in this time wasting simulator. Hundreds of Reckoning completions and still don’t have the Spare Rations or Sole Survivor roll I wanted and the same with the Hollowed Lair nightfall. I’ve killed that boss hundreds of times, maybe even a thousand with the old glitch method, but never got the Mindbenders’s I wanted. I have over a hundred completions on Last Wish and SOTP each and you guessed it, I still never got certain rolls on weapons I was after. Bungie has the shooting part down perfect and the game looks amazing but I’d like to meet the person in charge of loot distribution and kick them in the teeth. They give zero -blam!-s about respecting people’s time. 🤷🏼♂️
