d2 doesnt have "recent player" like it made in overwatch.

2 RepliesEdited by ScaIie: 2/13/2020 5:46:13 PMUse of a xim (the device allowing you to use a M&K on console, if that’s what you’re talking about) isn’t technically cheating on the basis that you can’t get banned for using one and, to my knowledge, they aren’t against any community guidelines. It is however considered cheating by other players, and those who use them are widely frowned upon. It’s basically a way to have a large advantage over opponents without truly cheating.

Like anything, it has its advantages and disadvantages. Advantage is aim assist with mouse precision, but with controller recoil and turn speed. So a good native mouse player will still win more often than not. The biggest advantage would be sniping, but that's about it really.

1 ReplyThis is a cheat. On the console in this game there is no game for K and M, so the emulator is a hardware hack.

1 ReplyIt's not cheating. I doubt you guys realize how hard it is to use a xim at 30 fps and the controller recoil on a mouse. Example if you hip fire The Last Word you have to move your mouse down and inch per shot. Tell me how that's reasonable?

9 RepliesXim is not cheating because it gives no advantage on 30 fps. If the game was 60 fps then yes but trying to aim on 30 fps without a controller is hell.

4 RepliesOn pc it might as well be cheating, on console it unfortunately isn’t cheating to bungie but to other players it’s very frowned upon to use a xim.
