Get rid of it/tone it down and the whole attunement may as well not even EXIST.

They should be modified in one of two ways: You can run around with your 'spell of invulnerability' but the grenade isn't a 1-shot from long range -OR- Its still one shot from long range but you can be killed equally

I don't mind if warlocks have an op one hit kill grenade as they are otherwise rubbish, but being unkillable while you run around holding your purple power fist, to instakill others at enormous ranges is not on. Anyone who thinks this is equivalent to a throwing knife or shoulder charge is a deluded supernova crutch monkey.

2 RepliesTrue and HHSN is fine on its own, it’s no better than a shotgun and it doesn’t put Warlock at any advantage over other classes. The damage shield on Contraverse Holds is another story.

Litterally the fastest charge time out of any voidlock charge gernade, the range of a chaperone, and the ability to take out multiple guardians with a gernade when most nades cant even do that. On top of that, you get it back if you have controverse holds, so free kills practically that didnt really require any skill whatsoever. You dont even need to aim at your target most of the time since the blast radius will leave them weak enough for you or your teamate to finish them off if you do end up missing a direct hit. Its so hard to counter a warlock with supernova, let alone a full team running it. Its easy map control since shotgunners cant get near you, and snipers are forced to push to get an angle on you. (We all know warlocks with handheld super novas wont push a sniper, and they can sit on rifts until he is forced to push them)

2 RepliesIts a pretty weak subclass on the whole....and evidence (once again) of Bungie's tendency to nerf Warlocks whenever they become too viable in PVP. I tried playing Nova Warp this week in Sundial because its a void week....and it is really sad how useless and underpowered that subclass tree is in PVE. Its more evidence for this game needing seperate sandboxes for PVE and PVP if Bungie is hellbent on "balanced" PVP.

Yup thats spot on but those that don’t play warlocks be like “ItS BrOkEn!” Like if titans didnt have a free shotgun one hit kill on their pocket on all their classes or if hunters didn’t have a massive hitbox and easy to use knife spam that instantly recharges or given a said exotic allow them to toss some more without penalty, add a dodge and they will always have a free one hit kill on their pocket too.

3 RepliesTbf the melee is surprisingly good, basically Solar Wind but dealing so much more damage. It actually lets you 1v1 a small handful of supers just due to how disorienting the knockback can be. The healing on ability kills is decent at best, but the ability regen with it is part of what makes Handheld so powerful. If anything, nerfing or replacing the passive may be the best way to indirectly nerf Handheld.

2 RepliesIts actually not. NovaWarp while not amazing in PvE is very viable in PvP. Practice with the warp cause I have taken out whole teams with it. Plus the kockback effect on the melee is terrific. HHSN is no more offensive that shoulder charge or the throwing knife. Plus its not like Warlocks can dodge without floating, go invis, close distance, regan all health during a super, shoulder charge all over, wambo combo and hell even our melee sucks. We have 1 good PvP ability and ppl lose the collective shit. I find this hysterical.

8 RepliesI mean...a 160 damage melee and a neutral game that both flat heals you and restores ability energy a bit is something you aren't really giving it credit for. The super isn't exactly the most threatening, but that neutral game is pretty solid. It's better than thunder crashes at least, now that's a joke.

3 RepliesThe super is in an okay place. It has a major skill gap to play it. I personally don’t use it as an attack super but as a defensive one. If I’m getting laned and get 1 shot behind a corner then I just pop the super and teleport the -blam!- outta there. Nova warp is a shell of its former self but isn’t completely unusable
