Edited by an Ape with a d2 addiction: 2/13/2020 8:40:55 AMThe pvp parts of the game are basically p2p as far as the networking parts that affect performance go. There aren't dedicated pvp servers hosting the player to player connections. You can use a network traffic analyzer / monitoring tool like Wireshark for the effect you're looking for. Since the other players in the lobby connect directly to your PC a traffic monitor will show 11 existing connections for the duration of the match. It'll show the information you're looking for like latency and can explain the rubberband shenanigans you experience in game. Might suprise you how often you're matching folks from other continents. Disclaimer: As far as I'm aware of network monitors aren't bannable since they don't actually alter your game client related network traffic at all. They only look up the available information out and draw a chart about it. If someone knows better correct me here. Personally I haven't used them with D2 so don't have first hand experience. -edit- Just noticed you're on console. Not sure if there's a way to do this on that platform unless you have a networking device your console's connected to with traffic monitoring built in.
