This is the worst I have ever experienced in any game. For the past 2 days I'm suddenly being spammed with Weasel, Anteater, and Buffalo. I have not signed onto Steam on multiple devices, I'm playing by myself, my network is open NAT with 113mb download and 10.6mb upload, and literally everything else connects and works. I've been getting weaseled 3 minutes after signing in, after which I get booted to the main screen and get buffalo. If I'm lucky, I can actually play for about 20 minutes before anteater or weasel shows up again. If I make it to the tower, weasel or anteater occurs every 4-5 minutes. How do I fix this?

3 RepliesHi. Thanks for your report. This sounds like a connection issue of some kind is occurring. This could be an internet service provider issue. If you are on a wireless connection, a wired connection is recommended to play Destiny. If your internet connection is being used for anything else besides playing the game, such as watching a movie or streaming, it's recommended to quit those programs. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue:
1. Clearing your console cache or, if on PC, verify the integrity of your game files 2. Power cycling your internet router 3. Review our guide on improving latency and packet loss to see if that might help 4. Following our Network Troubleshooting Guide for best optimizing your connection to Destiny. I’ve experienced this issue before and found a solution to resolve it. Sometimes when these updates happen they can have some effects on your modem and router, to fix this issue turn them both off and restart them. This worked for Me so maybe it will help you, cheers and good luck!
